As mentioned above on the hotel comment, it is a lovely place to wine and dine. Lots of choice of food on the menu and daily specials, I have to admit that I am a fussy eater as I frequently make home made food and work for 2 Michelin stars restaurant. I can't record the name of the Blue bottle... More

The day was grey and miserable but the staff and the fires in the pub were very welcolming. This pub is popular so Sunday Lunch needs to be booked. Fantastic place to go when dog walking as this place is a dog walkers paradise.

Myself and my girlfriend have been visiting Lynmouth for many years and have never ate at this gem of a pub. The food was amazing and the atmosphere of the pub was delightful, log fires burning, the wind and rain howling outside, friendly and pleasant staff made our evening perfect. Thanks all we will be returning

The service is fast and efficient. Seasonal decor very good, hallowe'en party pieces noticeable everywhere. Changes to the lunch menu, very good, and the specials are well worth a try. Being a local person it is always nice to know that you are always going to be well looked after, be it for a snack, dinner, just a drink or... More

Have wandered in here a few times on various walks around the area. Lovely setting with great views from the outside and a warm and comforting feeling within. Staff have always been really friendly. Beer is excellent with local ales and Cornish lager. Food very good and massive portions

As you leave Lynton/Lynmouth heading towards Minehead you are treated to spectacular views and at the top of one of those hills is the Blue Ball Inn. The lunch menu has a really good range of both sandwiches and larger meals. Good arrived nice and quickly along with crisps and side salad so that was good. The staff (owners?) were... More

Super old pub with lots of character, a roaring log fire and great ales. The food was excellent too and very plentiful. The barman was chatty and the place had a really lovely atmosphere, just what you would wish fro in rural devon

Thank jason b
