We visited this establishment recently and ordered 2 coffees. These seemed to appear rather rapidly and on tasting them seemed to be the cheapest instant coffee out there , so bitter , it was disgusting and at £5.00 for two a complete rip off ,...More

Stopped off here after a walk to Watersmeet as the garden looked lovely with a nice view over the river. However we should have read TP first as we have to agree with all the other one star reviewers. The host points you to a...More

The location is lovely with a superb array of flowers. The cakes are all made on site and were very nice. Very amiable host who has a dry sense of humour, which upon reading other reviews, is obviously not to some people's liking.

The garden was the highlight. Unfortunately, we didn't realise until we were paying that they don't take credit card which led to an embarrassing difficulty which was sorted by paying a £1 surcharge to use our card.

Lovely location in Lynmouth but beware! We were greeted by a man with "Four cream teas?" Then when we said we wanted tea it was "Cake?" We all ordered cake. When he brought the order out he said it was £24. Seemed a lot but...More

We thought we ought to have a cream tea as we were on holiday in Devon, and dropped in here. Although the man was friendly, we were rather pounced on as we entered the charming courtyard garden. Sadly the cream tea was very ordinary. The...More

Truly this was the worst customer service experience I've ever had and I've travelled the world! My family and I were dithering outside this establishment for a few minutes, unsure whether we were yet hungry enough to eat lunch or cream teas. The location was...More

We walked past this tea garden a few days ago. It looked pretty so we made a diversion to stop by for tea today. I wish we hadn't. We fancied an ice cream but were greeted by a pushy chap who said "2 cream teas?"...More
