Fabulous lunch today cooked and served by Kerry and Becky,very good value 5stars,very good menu, all good ,will definitely go again

havent been to golden hind for apprx 12 months.it became dull and boring with grumpy staff.went sat 7th may the staff were very freindly good service and had a meal deal for 6.99 excellent value with generous portions.will visit again.

We called ahead last night to book a table for 8.30 and we told there was plenty of spaces available. We walked in and there was some sort of quiz going on. The mic's were so loud you could barely here what they were saying. There was drunk people screeching and the language was awful. We arrived and went over... More

Have visited this place several times before and you always knew what you were getting! However, they have now changed the lounge into a so called sports bar with a pool table and very limited seating, so we went in the bar to eat. OMG really loud music with sport blaring out of the tv you cannot hold a conversation!!!!... More

Went to watch the football and catch up with a friend. The place had 15 people in at best, we arrived about 10 mins before KO and watched the first half not a problem. During HT 2 gentleman walked in and requested the rugby to put on the big screen! So without asking all the other punters or mentioning that... More

Attended for lunch, not very impressed with meal but because of hunger we ate most of it which was a mistake. both of us spent most of the night on the toilet. the next day we had stomach cramps and were being sick. we both had chicken which when carefully stored and cooked shouldn't be a problem. any subsequent visits... Well what a load of bull , don't know how managing to run the pub when they have run out of food @ 7-20 there was few people who wanted to order food but was told no food for meals so left to go else where plus people had booked table still told no food when they went to order... More

I went there today,should of known not go.Last time we went three meals got sent back....today we were giving only a few meals on paper as something to do with chief. Well I could of made better myself.The staff were all at the end of the bar talking.was more like a social meeting then them working.Hope they find someone better... More

I really don't understand how people can dislike this pub. We have been eating here and having nights out here a lot over the last year or so. Booked a table in a relatively empty lounge waited 90 mins for a substandard starter had to remind the kitchen after another 30 mins that we had actually ordered a main course that arrived inedible sent back twice asked for the manager who couldn't be bothered to see us after asking for him 4 times absolute disgrace it's my local... Traditional public house offering great food and drinks allday everyday. Food available from 12 noon everyday until 9pm. Open daily from 11am except for sunday 12 noon. Open until 11pm Sunday to Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday.
Sky sports and BT sports shown here on 8 large screen TV's with 3 different sporting events being able to be shown at the same time.
We pride ourselves on getting it right and guest service, the best comes as standard.
