Lovely little cafe with a great and intimate atmosphere. Good choice of food and very filling but maybe a tad over priced, for the drinks more than the food.

Walked in at 915hrs (they open at nine), was the first one in and was told that if I wanted anything I would have to wait because they had only just got in. I thought I would look at the breakfast menu anyway and was handed a piece of paper with about 5 things typed on it so I thought... More

Came here again because it's convenient to elderly family. The smooth vegetable starter was OK but too hot to eat for a while and then only slowly. The main from the board was alright, the omelette and the ham and cheese toastie were simple and fresh but for what we got, each serving was a bit expensive. The meals are... More

Heard good things about this cafe but I failed to see what the fuss was about. It's a little cafe tucked behind the main shops. The décor is a bit homespun and the menu fairly basic although no chips (that's a good thing) There is then a special board which is a bit more interesting but sadly contained nothing I... More

I visited recently with a friend. We like to try different places and were not disappointed with the food here. You can have a full meal or just a snack which we both had and it was delicious. Not a large menu, but enough for lunch time. Food nicely presented and freshly made. Service good and very friendly staff. Will... More

I always feel on holiday here ,,,, I ate a bowl of spaghetti carbonara with side salad ,,, very tasty . Sweet was pancakes with banana and chocolate sauce ,,, fantastic !!! Washed down with a... My nan lives two minutes away, we've come here before but a few years ago! Very very lovely and decor is stunning (cushion envy). Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

I went to this café for a light lunch,it was certainly light in quantity but not light on my wallet.hardly any choice.of dishes.I felt patronised and won't be going there again.I eat out every week and therefore have a balanced view of value for money.

Not as pretentious or complex as when we last came about five years ago. Now predominantly light lunches. Friendly, welcoming, maybe a bit folksy. We came with my ageing parents now both in their nineties and they enjoyed the a panino each but we also had ham and cheese in toast and a pastrami sandwich. My son enjoyed the beef... More

Me and My dad go there for lunch and breakfast couple times a week. Kim and Paul are a lovely couple who run this little bistro. Paul does the best food especially the chicken Caesar salad and Kim's waiting service is exceptional. Would highly recommend anyone to go.
