Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hi firstly this place is very atmospheric and beautifully decorated inside, but unfortunately the manager is very amateurish. having booked this place on the 8 November for 4 people celebrating a birthday on the 9 December. We get told a few days before there was...a computer glitch. It took them almost 4 weeks to realise this apparently. In reality, they cancelled us as they had a bigger booking. Safe to say we never be back even for drinks.More

We tried to explain to you what happened, but you failed to understand. The truth is that we did not (and do not) have a bigger booking on the day you had booked, we simply wanted to ensure there was enough time for you to...More

We had heard about this place and thought we’d give it a go, mistake. We were greeted by who I believe was the owner and Summarily ordered to take a seat, as it was our first, (& last), visit and didn’t know the crack, I...thought that’s a bit rude, anyway we ordered our drinks, quite expensive for the quality, drank up and left.More

Omg amazing food. Ate here 2 nights 1st was the ploughman’s sharing board and tonight was the TBP seafood platter. Both were amazing. Lovely cocktails freshly made no prebottle or pre mixed cocktails here. Staff are really friend and welcoming. A lovely atmosphere

We have visited this establishment several times for cocktails only, this time we booked to eat. We arrived earlier than booking and were just going to have a couple of drinks before however the staff moved a few things around and we were able to...sit at the table and look at menu. During the whole evening the staff were brilliant, helpful and attentive (but not in a pushy way). Husband wanted a particular cocktail which wasn’t on the menu .. absolutely not a problem and at the same deal as the others on menu. The food when it arrived was delicious, the whole evening proved to be one of the best that we have had in Plymouth, and we visit at least 3 times a year. We are already planning another visit at the end of the month for my birthday.More

To start with the service was a bit haphazard but once we ordered food the staff seemed more interested! We shared a charcuterie board and mussels which was very tasty. Atmosphere was quite relaxed.

Firstly this place cares ! The cocktails are a creation not just a drink ! The staff are creative and attentive and we were lucky to talk to manager ! Your team made our date night as we rarely go out and felt special tonight.... Our only downside was that we didn’t start our date night here ! The cocktails were fresh and a cuddle for our taste buds oh and check out the toilet ! Fabulous decor!More

We have been in Plymouth for a short weekend break recently and have been really lucky to come across this true gem of a restaurant! We have been instantly charmed by the stylish and unique interior design, however seeing the menu we knew we are...in for a real treat. When the food started arriving we could not believe our eyes: simply amazing presentation! The taste of everything was next to nothing! All staff has been extremely friendly and courteous. For a family of four and three course meal, this was more than affordable! The whole experience was absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend the place enough! A must go and try indeed when in the neighbourhood. We have been delighted! Not to mention, dog friendly also :)More

New favourite place in Plymouth. What a great atmosphere to enjoy expertly crafted cocktails. Nothing premixed here, on the contrary you can feel the love that’s gone into them. We had a porn star and a zombie each and a lovely chat with the mixologist....Also met the owner who was lovely and who should be really proud of the super chilled out oasis of loveliness she has created. The toilets are fabulous too, lovely murals and well designed. Great attention to detail. Will definitely be going back when we travel back up to Plymouth.More

Ahh, thank you for this feedback. Our roast potato fingers are so popular. I don't think anyone else offers these, so pretty unique, like so much of what we do here. Hope to see you back here again soon. :)
