We were looking for an evening meal, without any preconceived ideas, could've been anything TBH. Decide to try here because it looks like a standard, unpretentious "chippy" and there was seating available It was early Monday evening. I chose cod & chips, with mushy peas...More

Great fish, well cooked with very crispy batter. Being hyper critical I would have said the chips were slightly dry. Nice cup of tea. Lovely staff, friendly smiling and helpful.

I believe this depends on how busy they are. We have visited 3 times in the last 2 months, lots of spare tables and the dogs have been allowed in everytime. We have a border collie and a small dog.
