Just visiting Plymouth for a few hours and found The Crown and Anchor. Very friendly welcome from barman on entering. Hubby asked for a BLT with chips (no salad) and I chose Ploughmans sandwich on brown bread with salad (no chips). Got exactly what we...More

From the moment we walked in Oli greeted us with a smile and a very warm welcome. There is a great selection of lagers and a good food menu which was very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend and will definitely be going back soon.

Probably the only remaining significant eating place in Plymouth's nightlife centre and most important tourist area which does not have a Tripadvisor listing. This is an old building with a newish internal rebuild and offers all day and evening food. It is one of the first and most prominent eating place apparent to visitors coming ashore from ferries and liberty boats from liners. It should be listed.
