What a fabulous place to eat As the name says, once a bank in Plymouth, but now a fanous eatery. Total cross section of food and drink and a number of floors and always busy Food comes fairly quickly, not that we are ever in a rush, and is first class Highly recommended

We frequent this public house on a regular basis and always get a very friendly welcome, good choice of beers & wines and well prepared food, weather a snack, lunch or evening meal, very reasonable prices, will be going again very soon.

Food was great, staff really nice, especially Ruth, who found out it was my friend's birthday and placed a candle in her dessert as a surprise! She even came over to wish... More

Traditional city centre pub - no frills, decent beers, usual pub food but suits my tastes. Recommened if on budget and want decent pint with a bite to eat and sky sports on telly. OK in my book

The decoration inside is amazing and you can see that it use to be used as a bank. Excellent service, great food choice and plenty of it. Would definitely be... More

Hello Angela, Thank you for your review. I am sorry you feel that we were not ready or organised. We had set the table for 8/10 people as the lady who booked the table had requested. We hope that your evening was still enjoyable. Ray More

Description
A well established and very busy city centre pub converted from a bank more than thirty years ago and providing a wide range of good food from 9am every morning until 10pm every evening. Very well thought of and popular. Particularly convenient for pre Theatre Royal meals which is barely thirty metres away. Well worth a listing.
