Well worth the visit just for the views. Called in a couple of times the week we were down in Torquay Currently undergoing an extension for additional lower level seating and veranda Great for drinks, breakfast and lunch...afternoon tea. Even got a loyalty card.

The best thing about this cafe is the location. Overlooking Babbacombe Bay towards Lyme Bay. On a clear day can see for miles. It has outside seating as well as indoor. In the summer they are always rushed and get very very busy. I have been a few times. The last time I visited I had fish and chips. The... More

we've been now quite a few times to the cafe and couldn't fault it.Its exceptionally clean and the staff are very attentive. This last visit we opted for jacket potatoes as we didn't want anything too heavy . When the meals arrived all I can say was there was more than ample. Its good to know for us that we can visit... More

Thank you for your review. Our portions are generous and I think thats part of the reason we remain so busy, even in the winter months. Come and visit again soon and you'll be able to enjoy our new balcony and downstairs seating area. More

Came here for a milkshake and cream tea with my mum and kids. The milkshakes were absolutely divine and made with ice cream, rather than the schmoo rubbish a lot of places serve these days. My mum and I have a cream tea. I have to say they are possibly the worst scones I've had out before. They were so... More

I'm surprised that you didn't mention this to us. Why go to the effort of putting this on trip advisor when all you had to do mention it on the day. We sell a lot of homemade scones and bake several times a day. If one wasn't right we could have replaced it for you. I have built this business... More

Great views and friendly staff. The food and cakes looked good, unfortunately the luxury chocolate which sounded so nice, fell well short of expectations. The chocolate was powdered, the mug was only three quarter full with a bit of squirty cream on top and a flake, which for £3.35 was disappointing and seriously not worth it.

We make our hot chocolate using an italian chocolate mix, dairy cream, marsh mallows and a cadbury's flake. It's a shame you didn't mention on the day that it wasn't to your liking as we could have rectified it for you. We aim to please all our customers so if you visit again and are in any way dissatisfied then... More

A regular coffee stop for me and my boss and co-workers - great coffee, cake and sandwiches... perfect on a sunny day but alas this week the weather was a bit poor - still nice to sit in and natter

Sorry about the fog. I promise it was nothing to do with us. You will have noticed that we are building at the back of the cafe so that we will soon have a sea facing balcony. Please come and use it on a nice fog free day. More

We stopped here on our way to the model visit. The views are spectacular from the cafe. We had a breakfast and the food was fresh and hot. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
