Food did taste nice and was a good experience but unfortunately I had food positioning. So the experience in the restaurant was good up until 11pm and still very poorly now. Don't think I will risk coming back here but hopefully the owners are aware...and make sure food reheated properly or cooked properly I was the only one who had the duck and egg fried rice with meat it. Shame food was good staff was amazing just can't leave a good review due to health and safety needs to be made awareMore
came here tonight. cost just over £50. my husband had half a plate of food but only ate 2 spoon fuls off of it, as he has had throat cancer takes him a long time to eat, we offered to pay for a pot to...take the food away with us. after me having a plate and him 2 mouthfuls off a plate. they refused. said they would not give it unless we ordered take away. we explained about the throat cancer and explained we would pay extra to just be able to take the half a plate of food yet denied. disgusting service. would never reccommend if you cant eat anything.More
Luke warm food. Low quality food. There are better restaurants to spend your money and time at. We won't be returning to Oriental touch.
All the hot food was cold, not sure if there was a problem with their buffet server. The restaurant also was cold to sit in..could do with more central heating. Such a shame as we used to enjoy going to this place, but we will...not returnMore
We were apprehensive before coming here after reading some of the negative and inarticulate reviews. A canteen style venue offering a bottomless buffet feast. Good value but they need to update the prices on their website to reflect the recent modest increases. A wide range...of choices. Good quality and flavours. Pay upfront which we would expect and makes sense. The crew can be fearsome but this restaurant is well managed. Poor quality wines on offer so we stuck with good old tap water. Piling the plates high appears undignified but more satisfying to visit the buffet little and often. A busy early Sunday evening popular with families. 🇬🇧 🇳🇿More
DONT GO HERE !!! this was the absolute worst Chinese I have ever had the food was cross contaminated with peanuts and kids hands in the food gave me bad tummy squits all night the drinks were a joke unless you like a whole glass...of ice and no lime in your lemon and lime the food was cold and had no taste compared to other Chinese restaurants I can’t even give it a one star we had to find our own way to the table sat down and had chairs whipped away for other tables other people around us didn’t look very happy either would definitely never go back and this has put me off buffet Chinese foreverMore
I can’t eat much, but my Nan wanted to go. I paid £14 and ate minimal. I asked if. I could take my plate of food away to be greeted with , YOU PAY EXTRA £11 , YOU SHOULD NOT COME IF YOU CANT EAT....I tried to explain but she just went to another member of staff and spoke Chinese , looked and laughed at me, bloody joke. Won’t be going there again !More
Considering that this is medium size buffet, the variety of food is guite impressive, everything was fresh and warm (some dishes even hot), empty trays were replaced very quickly, dirty plates vere collected straight away (no piles of dity plates on the tables). The only...thing management may consider for the future development is to add the teppanyaki grill, where customers could choose the raw food (chicken, beef, squid, prawns, peppers, mushrooms, noodles etc) to be grilled for them with the sauces of their choice. We have visited many Chinese buffets, and this was one of the best ones. One of the places on favourite list, we will definitely return to.More
Very much a canteen style buffet, but great variety of dishes. Everything is regularly checked and refreshed. Great choice of desserts too! Good for kids, they love the self service bit.
Quirky due to their systems and strictness on paying first and assuming you know the process of the venue but good food! Worth going to and value for money
Came here with our fussy three year old, last time they charged for her when she was 2 which annoyed me, but due to her being sick just before we went in (travel sick) I wasn't really thinking and just carried on and left my...partner to pay... This time I was one step ahead said at the door just two adults as she is fussy and won't eat. So off we went, you could tell the lady wasn't happy we hadn't paid for our 3 year old but I wasn't prepared to pay for someone who is as fussy as her. Went and got my first plate of food, my three year old grabs a prawn cracker... I let her continue as it's a prawn cracker. Then we went to get another plate of food, on my return the lady that we paid says "she can not share your food, you did not pay" so I replied "she ate half a prawn cracker" she replied "yes she can not share food" so I said " well she won't eat anything other then them so.. how much is a prawn cracker" then she went on to say no you have to pay for the buffet it's a set price!.......It's a bloody prawn cracker! For a three year old! I was not happy, we'd just spent 40 pound at this place...they then continued to watch us like we were shoplifters in a shop. I was waiting for them to tell me she wasn't aloud her juice in there either, then I would of blown 🤣 we didn't bother having pudding as having to tell our daughter she couldn't share would of not been fair! And she would have only wanted a spoon of ice cream! So bad normal all you can eat buffets are free for under a certain age as most kids that age don't eat hardly anything! And for that reason we won't be retuning and also because of how rude the lady was. A smile goes a long way... Shame as usually the food is decent.More
Never go back again.for three children and three adults two which have medical problems only eat small meals asked for children menu prices told no £17 each .reduced for one person only £11 rip off.charging full price for children .wouldn't stay absolutely disgusted 😒
Amazing worth every penny it’s all you can eat Chinese and some plain English food for the fussy eaters like chips onion rings chicken nuggets the staff is lovely very accommodating the restaurant is clean tidy plenty of parking Plenty of choice value for money...will deffo reccomendMore
Will never ever go back here again after today! Been going there for many years, last few times it's been cold. Today arrived 2pm, they charged as we went it (normal)... but when questioned the price later on was told they had charged me for...my 10 month old baby!!!!! When I complained the rude waitress/bar woman said "I saw him eating"... I just couldn't believe what I was hearing, I gave him one of my prawn crackers, he'd not of even been able to eat the food there!! Also the close time was 3pm, the staff at 2:40 came and completely cleared the food away, didn't even ask if we had finished, terrible! Such a sullen atmosphere in this place too nowadays. Won't be returning here, and like I told them after going there for many years it's a shame they lost my custom over charging a BABY for a prawn cracker!!More
