We visited for the first time to have a good roast! Such a cozy cool looking place to go, the toilets were even an experience. Starters varied from share boards and single starters. 10£each my boyfriend and I shared oysters, prawns, bread, salmon.... absolutely amazing. I had a a turkey roast! Was lovely, lots of condiments offered. Not a problem... More

We came here for the first time on Sunday for a birthday celebration. We ordered the Beef, Lamb and the Ham Hock and were very impressed by the quality and taste of all three. They were all succulent and good size portions. The best was the ham hock with the outside crackling probably the best I have tasted. Another factor... More

Have been here twice recently, since my other half has fallen in love with this restaurant. The waiting staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is of a uniformly high standard. The menu changes frequently to reflect what is in season, but I can particularly recommend the scallop starter we had, the Iberico ham (a number of... More

Great welcome to the restaurant, great ambience, great food, great wine and drink choice. We had two sharing platters. Quite large. One was probably enough for 4. They were both fantastic. We had roast beef and lamb, both were also fantastic. But no room for desserts. We'll be back here again soon. I can't recommend it highly enough.

My daughter booked a table for my 70th birthday, knowing that I had enjoyed the restaurant earlier in the year. It was as good as I had remembered, with good wines and interesting food. The staff were friendly and helped with choices.

Good lunch. Only negatives were roast potatoes were undercooked with roast beef and no horseradish. Wish I'd ordered the same as hubby who had welsh hake rarebit which was devine- hence very good rating.
