I have used this restaurant for years now always have had good food and the service has always been good .Booked a table for 8 pm for 8 friends the restaurant was not busy buy their normal standards but although they were very attentive i...felt we were being rushed the food was superb as always but they kept hovering around us wanting to clear away when members of the party were still eating so this i found annoying as we were having a nice chilled time. Eating out is not cheap these days but to be hit with a 10% service charge which amounted to £27 i feel this was a bit much as we would all have left a tip as we always do so for this we were not to pleased with them. We chose this restaurant as a place to meet with friends last night. Although the food was good, we felt a little rushed. We still had several poppadoms left, when the waiter cane and asked if we'd finished with them. As we were paying for...them, we felt we should be allowed to finish them at least? The restaurant wasn't overly busy, yet they started to remove plates whilst some members of our group were still eating. But the biggest disappointment I felt, was a service charge added to our bill!! We spent approx £266 on food and drink and each of us would have happily added a tip, but when we saw the service charge of nearly £27, we immediately decided no. Sadly, for that reason alone, we won't be returning to this restaurant. Service charges like that are rude, presumptuous and a sure fire way of putting people off. Most people are happy to tip. It would be far nicer if a place waited for this, rather than automatically adding their own.More

Disappointing to say the least expensive. The coke I had was flat. The food was expensive and somehow tasteless too hot and spicy - worst curry in ages . Up at 2.30 thirsty with stomach cramps avoid

Lovely dinner and excellent service. Completely stress free, no bad attitude from staff, reasonable price and charming Indian decor.

We haven’t tried here before but have eaten from the other Indians in Westbourne. Great takeaway. Excellent choice of food at a good price. Friendly efficient staff will definitely order from here next time as cannot fault the place and food was delicious.

As a party of 12 we visited last Saturday and the table was booked for 19.30.The service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly.Also,the food was superb and varied.I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.Top marks.

We visited tonight just as they'd opened at 5pm. Service was as usual attentive and pleasant, food was EXCEPTIONAL! Everything you would expect and want in an Authentic Indian Restaurant. Love the heated trays that are put on the table to keep your curry warm...that so many of the 'new style' Indian restaurants don't bother with! Wouldn't go anywhere else in Westbourne!More

25 years of coming here and it has remained first to last the very best Indian restaurant. Never a bad meal only ever a phenomenal meal. The staff are so friendly and the service exceptional . Proof - its Wednesday and the restaurant is busy,...full of laughter and good conversations. Happy people, great food. We can't wait to come back.More

My partner and I love it here and staff, ambience, comfort are amazing and then there's the food!!! So tasty and fresh and the bhuna massala is off the scale in yummyness.. You have to go....def best in Westbourne and possibly the UK
