Friendly bar staff who immediately made us feel welcome. There was a fire burning and a cosy atmosphere. The food we ordered was delicious. Plenty of choice too.

A wonderful proper pub. Good ale and food with friendly and cheerful service. I have visited on multiple occasions and have never been let down. Try the pies which are beautiful but do book first as it will be busy.

It certainly is - we shall have the fire burning away for your arrival and a small treat for the dog when you arrive - please make sure that you book though - its getting very busy with Christmas fast approaching.

The owners are very friendly and even if this is not something they necessarily "do" I am sure they would be happy to sort something out for you.
