Had dinner here on Saturday evening after the snowdrop lantern parade. We had special of the day pork loin with brie and cranberry on top. Delicious. Served with freshly cook vegetables. Good friendly service. Lovely atmosphere in the pub a building with some many years of history.

We followed the signs to this pub from the main road. It was just what we wanted, a lovely, no frills pub with tons of character and good food. The sandwiches were very much above the ordinary, well presented and super tasty. Lovely coffee. Staff just attentive enough. Clean loos. Nothing to fault, thanks.

Have not visited in a while but decided to give it a try. As soon as we entered there was a very warm friendly feel about the place. We had a very nice meal. Service was good and the waitress very friendly and smiley. Will definitely go back.

Discovered pub by chance on first visit to Shaftesbury and what a Find! Luvverly welcome, great service and Fish & Chips the Best......not forgetting those tasty Peas! Also, enjoyed Dorset Apple Cake and Custard for the first time and absolutely delicious. Thank you to all at Ye Olde Two Brewers. Visit was worth the climb back up Gold Hill!!!!!

Ate at the Two Brewers last week (their midweek 2 steaks deal) and was very impressed at the quality (and portion size!) of the meal. That, along with a bottle of wine made it a fantastic meal at a very reasonable price. This pub is what all local pubs should aspire to be like, great drinks / food and a... More

We visited the pub for Sunday roast. The food was amazing and excellent value. Bar staff very friendly. Real local pub with some excellent characters including a chimney sweep at the bar who was hilarious. This place has to be visited .especially on a Sunday. Highly recommended

Friendly welcome, speedy service and yummy food. What more could you want from a pub lunch? Can heartily recommend the veggie burger with sweet potato fries. Some veggie burgers can be dry and unappetising, but this with its garnish and homemade coleslaw is gorgeous. In the summer, the pub has the added appeal of a garden with a nice view... More

The Two Brewers is one of our favourite pubs, and is in a wonderful quaint "village" that is in fact a suburb below Shaftesbury's hill. Its garden has a stunning view across to Melbury Hill. It has changed hands several times since we first discovered it in 2001, but is now safely in the hands of Andy and Sally, a... More

My partner and I came here for lunch and once again was very happy with the food. Andy was running the bar and taken food orders all by himself and never got anything wrong. We are all ways impressed by this lovely pub and will always visit here when we go to Shafesbury for something to eat. If you are... More

I've been here a number of times, just for a drink, and loved it. Many times I've been, it has been busy with people eating. Hence, we visited for lunch just before Christmas, There was a large party in, and were informed our order would take half an hour to arrive. I was okay about the wait, but it took... More

Thanks for your review however what a shame you chose not to say anything at the time. I also find it sad that you mention you have been in our pub several times and loved it however instead of talking to us directly at the time and giving us the opportunity to correct any issues you have chosen to defame...
