I've been to the Brewers quite a few times over the summer and it's excellent. Great food, great staff and all mixed with a lovely atmosphere - aided by an awesome kids zone in the garden allowing you to enjoy a beer without needing to entertain little ones! Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Have been here a few times over the last month and have eaten twice. The food is very good and the service really friendly. It can get busy so it might be advisable to book at weekends. There is a garden out the back with picnic tables, with excellent views. When we brought a large party of twenty on a... More

During our trip through GB we stopped off at a beautiful village called "Shaftesbury" it's like stepping back in time. Cobbled streets. thatched roofs, beautiful views and friendly town's folk. We stayed in a 350 year old cottage and "Ye Olde Two Brewers" was only a 100 meter walk from our place plus it was recommended by our Aibnb host.... More

Visited on the recommendation of our cottage host whilst staying in Shaftesbury - pitched as the "best pub in town". It is a lovely pub, at the bottom of Gold Hill it's a fair walk back up if you need to go that way. We took the car, there is a small car park but on road parking too. Be... More

Andy and Sally, the proprietors have done an amazing job with building their team and a fantastic environment for all to enjoy. We had a few drinks in the beer garden while the children played on the slide. This was followed by a fantastic meal which was easily one of the best pub dinners we've collectively experienced in 9 days... More

Not the easiest pub to get to but well worth the effort. It's what pubs used to be, a meeting place for all. Several different areas makes it easy to find the area that suits you best, quiet, restaurant or one where you have step over dogs and toddlers. Try the Blue Moon beer from the US on a summers... Had a lovely get together at this pub for my Dad's 80th birthday. All the meals were lovely and the staff very helpful and polite. Grandsons enjoyed the skittle alley and we would have enjoyed the garden if the weather had been better. Hoping to use the pub again for future family occasions.

Great selection of food. Dogs welcome in the garden. (Don't know about inside) Staff were very friendly and helpful, Food was cooked perfectly, we were told what the wait on food was, (busy lunchtime visit) well worth the wait --20 mins. Clean, tidy and fresh looking pub. Will return. Thank you.

Clearly a hit with the locals for a sat eve drink. Food good we both had the pie special. Would recommend meal far superior to pub in town. Service was friendly. Great little pub garden at the back with kids play area.
