What an absolutely delightful cafe . An unexpected need to have lunch whilst awaiting the collection of my father from the local hospital. The food was divine, the staff wonderfully attentive and kind . I shall be sure to visit Brighton to be able to...return for another joyous meal . Thank you the best lunch I’ve had for a very long time 😘More

Whilst a bit out the way, so worth the walk for this wonderful place. We all had different meals, and each was delicious & well presented. Cheeky Mimosa & good coffee made the meal complete. Plus friendly & most attentive staff, made me chuckle! Thank...you all for starting our day trip so well. 😊More

Whilst on a stroll we stumbled upon this cafe, out of the way but close by. We were greeted instantly and taken to a seat by a very friendly waiter. The space is small but well laid out. We didn’t feel too close to anyone....There was a good selection of breakfasts and brunches in the menu, but not too many, along with vegan options. We opted for a buddha bowl and avocado and tomatoes on toast. It was absolutely delicious, well thought out and well presented. The coffees were also really good, it was the first good chai latte too! Wholeheartedly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.More

Other half dragged me to this restaurant after we'd already walked 6miles... and it was another mile or two uphill all the way.... by that point it was almost 1.30pm and I was most definately hangry, tired and taking no prisoners. First impressions was just...another standard cafe. Ordered the special of the day which was seasonal roasted vegetables (Carrots, beetroot, Leek, brussel sprout and baby tomatoes on the vine, with garlic lemon hummous , sprinkled with roasted hazelnuts, sweet onion seeds and a slice of delicious multigrain toast (they forgot the olives)...and an extra slice of bacon. It was an unusual combination, but game to try I'm glad I did. It was amazing! the flavours and textures worked brilliantly and I gave this meal 10 out of 10 without hesitation. My better half had the English Breakfast and said it was also a 10 out of 10 worthy contestant. This is an award winning cafe for 2018, 2019 and 2020 and I can see why! Make the effort and try it, aside from being at the top of a very big hill - it was worth the effort!More

Most delicious breakfast I've had out and not a huge price. Vegetarian breakfast amazing. Only critic is the extra charge for gluten free bread. Although the bread was great, doesn't seem fair for an allergy.

From the food to the drinks to the service and the atmosphere, that was one of the best brunches I’ve ever had. If you’ve never tried Starfish and Coffee- you should.

Highly recommend the pancakes with bacon and blueberries! Nom! Despite having to climb mount everest to reach the cafe 🤣, it was well worth it. Excellent food, great atmosphere, clean & tidy. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to brighton!

Me and 2 friends came to Starfish and Coffee for brunch and had a wonderful experience. The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious. I’ve been twice now and always have to order the chorizo hash, it’s been fantastic both times. My sister...reports that the portion of salmon with the eggs royale was very generous and my friend really enjoyed the homemade baked beans on his breakfast. We will definitely be back! :)More

Visited Starfish today for breakfast after family living in Brighton recommended it. Absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. So friendly and accommodating and a breakfast to die for.

We love dogs! We get quite a few in as we’re right next to Queens Park, but as long as they’re good with other dogs everything is rosy! Hope to meet you and your pooch soon.
