Certificate of Excellence2015 - 2018 Winner

Location and contact

Sabai show's tremendous consistency having won a certificate of excellence award for the last 4 years running. The Thai word Sabai translates simply as relaxed, the perfect description of this Brighton gastrobar where the urban cool of London on Sea is matched to the ethnic charm of the Land of Smiles. Bringing a taste of Phuket's beach bars and Bangkok's most upmarket restaurants to the UK, Sabai is all about chilling out, South East Asian style a fact which is patently clear from the silk floor cushions, cocktail menu and warm, smiling welcome. The deep red and dark wood, gold and green interior is as beautiful as Sabai's freshly cooked, authentic food, MSG free and made using local ingredients

Three of us in, at a weird time of just gone 3pm. So we were the only ones in. However the food and wine were all outstanding. Excellent food, in a cosy restaurant. Highly recommended, pad thai was yummy!

Met up with our son in Brighton and found this gem. Great dim sum starters and perfect choices for mains. I do not like hot spices so the sweet and sour was just right. My wife and son do like it hotter. My son really...More

Authentic delicious food with good veggie and vegan options. However, one recent visit we were served by a young waiter (working alone aside from kitchen staff) who was more concerned with his smartphone than guests. The wait between starters and mains was 30 mins (too...More
