If you buy, say a piece of cake to takeaway, make sure you don't get shortchanged as they'll give you the smallest piece possible,. Made the mistake of not watching the assistant cut the cake. Therefore overpriced for what you get.

It had a been a few years since my last visit to The Mock Turtle in Brighton and had happy memories of it and so was looking forward to returning. Sadly, I was greatly disappointed by how grubby and shabby it all looked now. Gone...More

Dry cakes and horrible coffee. Avoid if you can. Cakes look lovely but are quite old by the time they reach you.

A lovely place to have a restful cup of tea and slice of cake. It can get very busy. We found that the service was good. On this occasion we just had a sandwich which was fine

Just had an all-day breakfast here. It was delicious, well cooked and the staff are friendly. Very reasonable prices. Lovely cakes on offer too but I’ll have to come back later I’m so full!
