Delicious fresh fish in unpretentious surroundings. My girlfriend and I came in out of the wind for some food in the afternoon. Linda remembered us from the morning, even though we'd only popped our heads round the door, while Jack, unasked, hefted a table inside so we could eat out of the cold. Then I went back to the counter... More

Always friendly service and always top notch local seafood on offer. Pop in for a hot mackerel bap if you're down for the day or just a local passing!

Fabulous crab sandwich, fantastic kipper roll, such friendly helpful service. What more could we want on a Sunday lunchtime? Maybe the weather a little warmer!,

Whenever we return to my hometown & are down the seafront we often pop in for a nibble. Good fresh traditional seaside food made under the arches & eaten on the beach. Lovely friendly owners too. Can't beat it!

Great selection of fish, good to take out or grab some food and eat al fresco on the prom. What a treat after a New Year 5k park run. Owners very friendly.... we will be back next time in Brighton.

Jack and Linda's is to Brighton what the Brick Lane Beigel Bake or Manze's Pie and Mash are to East London. A confident and unshakeable outpost of British working class culinary history, unswayed by passing fads, whose comfort lies in the firm assurance that it will never disappoint. The daily-changing array of fresh and first-choice seafood, the wry smiles of... More

It's so rare to find such a simple, honest food establishment these days so i was absolutely delighted when my friend first introduced me to this little gem... fresh, locally caught fish smoked on site at a fair price. Lovely couple, very polite and genuine... i will 100% be returning!
