Nice staff in this quirky pub, fantastic art work on the walls, food good, chips were overdone unfortunately, wine was nice!!

One of the best roasts in brighton (alongside lion and lobster and craft beer). Cute pub, gets pretty busy!

Plenty of decent ales available, not over priced. Plenty of seating although some not masses of space in some areas. Pleasant place inside - looks how a pub should look. Seems fairly popular for food too - gets busy but worth a trip for sure

Good potions, no pretense of finesse a real if somewhat unrestored pub, not a bad thing in Brighton. The service was slow but genuine and my vegetarian friend had a good roast option, and dogs are welcome.

Read previous reviews so went and found it. Would find it again: good variety of food pub classics and burgers no seafood to speak of except fish and chips. Worth a visit though!!

It gets really busy so it's best to book in anyway to make sure you can get a seat!
