We visited this pub on a Sunday. Very busy, but the food was to die for. They do an excellent roast & plenty of it. You need to book in advance, otherwise you won’t get in. The staff are very friendly & cant do enough...More

The Mucky Duck is lovely. Great staff and not too busy. Bit pricey though. Food used to be very hit and miss but they have sorted that now and it is excellent. The sunday roast is wonderful but the veg is al dente. I like...More

We popped into the Mucky Duck for Sunday lunch (without booking). The pub was busy - there were already several tables of people eating amazing looking Sunday roasts, with most other tables having reserved signs on them. We found a table for 2 & ordered...More

A real must for a typical Sunday roast. We had chicken and the beef which was excellent. Perfectly cooked, juicy and accompanied by carrots, roast potatoes, beetroot broccoli and green beans. Large Yorkshire pudding with gravy. 1 large soda and local pint of beer just...More

Says on the outside that they have a beer garden, but it's the smallest one I've ever visited. The pub is nice and the staff is lovely, but just don't think you will fit 15 people in the beer garden. Had my dog with me...More

I liked the old style decor and the atmosphere. Doubt the pub has changed in decades. It was probably like this when I was last in Brighton in 1973. Dam good barman. Excellent bar. Not a great range of beer on tap. Comfortable seating.

One of the better Sunday lunches to be had in Brighton. Book a table if you don't want to be disappointed.
