What an absolute gem. The lunchtime specials are fantastic. Really authentic and incredible value. Beef brisket with pickled vegetables and chilli was fantastic. Exactly the right balance of heat and sourness and the brisket was perfect with just the right amount of fat. Service is great and everyone is really friendly and willing to explain the more unusual things on... More

Honestly, this restaurant can be the top 3 tasty Chinese restaurants for Real Chinese food! If you really wanna try some Chinese food in the right way, here might be your good choice. Also recommend their hot pot buffet, delicious homemade sauce, homemade fish ball and fresh meat.

The lunchtime special is always good and the menu is very extensive. This place is always full of Chinese. You can be sure they know where is best to eat. I also love the atmosphere generated by people a long way from home meeting up to eat and catch up. This place is simple - and excellent.

Been to this place number of times and always consistent food. Tastes good but it's very cold in winters as heating is never turned on unless strongly asked. If you really want to enjoy the food in winter I would suggest taking ur thick coat.

Usually 75% of the customers are Chinese always a good sign. I ususally go for the eat all you want option which is cooked for you. good way of experimenting with things you may not have tried.

Wow, what a lovely place. Simple, basic and great value for money. We opted for the buffet (mega hangovers were calling out for this) fast service and the most amazing tofu satay portions plentiful and we were surrounded by Asian students who were all tucking into what looked like a broth bow cooking all different items in their own spice... Unfortunately this has to be the worst Chinese I have eaten! I have thrown it away! The ribs clearly had been reheated more than once and what meat that was on them (more fat and skin) tasted off made me feel sick. Will not be returning! Honestly tuff as an old boot!

Three of us decided to call in after a couple of beers on Sunday evening. The windows were steamed up and, on entering, found the place to be pretty crowded, mostly with what appeared to be Chinese clientele. The decor is nothing to write home about but the food was fine. The menu is sectioned in to what could be... More

We are usually the only white couple in, so you know it's proper. Sweet and sour pork is off the chain

The food and sauces all tasted off or stale, the chicken wasn't cooked through and prawn crackers were stale. To top it all off found live insects crawling about in my food. Will never go here again it was an absolutely harrowing experience and nobody should ever have to eat this awful food and hazardous food again, and they should... More
