Visited the Gingerman from word of mouth. Great classy place. Had the taster menu and definitely worth the money. The chicken main and the passion fruit soufflé were incredible, as was the fish main.

Everything about our visit was just sheer perfection! Food, drinks & service were simply faultless. I had the baked cod, which I wouldn't usually order and it was exquisite. The staff catered for my GF needs fully as well and there were still plenty of menu options for me. We also didn't feel rushed at all and just had such... More

Where have you been hiding??? Considering my first visit here was was on April's Fools Day for lunch, I was prepared for a gaff or two. Lucky for me this did not result with the food. Small and quaint but big on service and satisfaction. The Parmesan starter and Monkfish was a delight and worthy of a repeat offering. I... More

'Just one member to make a hung jury and you are goin' home' was the revival note after eating here. Todd my mate from Brew Dog recommended this place and let's not split heirs. Wagner's underbeard could have soaked up the remains of the day, Not only did we eat food but absorb more than our fair share of what... More

Visited on a Sunday evening for our first anniversary. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and offered a choice of tables. The food, from the starters to the cheeseboard at the end was superb, the wine a cheeky Sicilian red, was superb and the staff brilliant. Pretty good value i think too and a lovely touch at the end with... More

This is a must visit restaurant when in Brighton. It is in Hove actually, but nevertheless, superb. Wonderful food, great service in an intimate but not pretentious setting. The monkfish starter was cooked to perfection, as was my wonderful sirloin main. The passion fruit soufflé was sublime. Has to be a contender for a Michelin star.

My boyfriend and I came here for our 1 year anniversary and it was lovely. The food was very high quality and we were given little starters (warm sourdough, pea mousse etc. ) which we weren't expecting. There were only 2 members of staff on so you'd think it would be a nightmare but they were extremely extremely good. They... More

Small but perfectly formed fine dining restaurant in Brighton with some terrific ideas well executed. A professional and friendly team and prices that compare very favourably with what you would pay for a similar quality in London. That goes for the wine too. We were marginally less impressed with desserts but overall a strong recommendation. Book well in advance as... More

My girlfriend kindly treated me to a birthday trip with a night away in Brighton! She booked this restaurant for the Sunday evening meal! We had a 19:30 booking and were seated immediately! It was busy throughout but the service was very well timed and very attentive! The meals were superb! Great tastes and combinations, I loved it. Prices were... More
