Lovely! Nicest cappuccino I’ve paid my hard earned cash on! Toasted tea cake was also perfectly toasted. A hidden gem independent cafe in Brighton

Really good place to stop off for lunch or tea when you're shopping in Churchill Square or just in the area. Its just in the Arcade, near the buses in Churchill Sq. Very helpful and friendly staff, and excellent value for money. Everyone will have...their own favourites, but the chicken curry with rice is good and I really enjoy the Mac cheese. Good selection of cakes with your tea as wellMore

Yesterday, I had the lentil soup with toast, which was served well. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot. SO hot it burned my tongue and down into my throat (vocal chords). I swallowed it before I realised. I had to ask for it to be transferred...to a cold bowl. A restless night and today my voice is very gravelly and sore down one side. Called them this am and someone apologised. The soup is served very hot so people don't complain. A timely warning should be given to unwary customers ?More

Went in for brunch with partner and ordered the Eggs Benedict. What a disaster! When it finally arrived the hollandaise was cold (and I mean just out of the fridge cold) and covered the whole in a thin safety yellow liquid. The eggs had been...overcooked and were solid and also cool as they had been sitting out for a few minutes. The 2 pieces of farmhouse toast was in fact 1 piece of granary bread cut in half. The ham too could have benefited with being shown a hot pan (or even a microwave) as they did nothing to enhance the meal. I did request some hot hollandaise which arrived in a very small pot. It was warm, but still the same consistency. While we are not frequent visitors to the cafe we have been there often, but I'm afraid no more.More

During the week I was working in Churchill Square I ate at this cafe several times as it was convenient, had fresh, high-quality food that was reasonably priced. Lovely Eggs Benedict, large Full English Breakfast and a generous Goat Cheese salad. The latte was as...I liked it too. The staff are friendly and helpful. Why eat at the over-priced places at Churchill Square when you can cross the road and step into the Imperial Arcade for a good meal during the day? Vegan and vegetarian dishes so all tastes can be catered for.More

Been in here a couple of times now, 2 Lattes and a slice of homemade cake just shy of £10 so quiet expensive. Had carrot and orange cake which was a large serving for £3.95 it was nice but a little dry. Lattes are nice,...no frills cafe with a good atmosphere, always seem to find a table. Would returnMore

I actually used to work here as a Saturday girl about 35 years ago! I pop in from time to time when shopping in town for drinks or snacks. Today I had time for lunch and I had the best baked potato I have had...for years. Delicious.More

This cafe is situated in Imperial Arcade, very close to Churchill Square Shopping Centre. It is very popular...and deservedly so ! Staff are friendly and helpful. Service is prompt, and portions enormous. We stopped here for lunch in the middle of early Christmas shopping. Although...cold, we decided to eat outside in the Arcade as the interior was really crowded. We chose jacket potatoes, one with cheese and the other with tuna. The potatoes were huge with very generous filling, and a nice side salad with each. Service with our coffees was rapid. Total bill was £17.50, which for the centre of Brighton, and considering the size of the portions was good value.More

I had a soup there on this miserable rainy day,it was excellent and the only reason I couldn't finish it realised I had a bus to catch. Obviously home made. Will come again.
