Good food, great service and friendly service. A little dear, but it is in a different class to other chip shops. Well worth eating there.

I went to this restaurant for a late dinner sitting. The guy that sat us at our table looked annoyed to have to do so, but the young guy that waited on us was very kind, smiley, and attentive. Our food was delivered without too...More

My parents have just returned from a few days in Brighton (which was lovely) and asked me to do this review (they are not into technology at all) but they were so impressed with the place. As OAP's they like to find a good value...More

Visited the takeaway side of Harry Ramsdens thinking it would be a safer bet than random chip shop. It was disappointing. The chips were okay, though nothing special. However the sausage was of really cheap quality, soft and tasteless, and the onion rings were not...More

This Harry Ramsden's is brilliantly positioned. It is literally opposite the beach and Brighton pier. We did not want a costly and time consuming meal, having arrived from London on a hot Friday evening! The take away prices were very reasonable, the service was fast,...More

I went for a meal with my collegues expecting to find great fish and chips but i only found average food. The service was quite bad to be honest, we waited for over 5 minutes before someone would approach us and sit us.

We were served by the very friendly waitress which I think is Carmina. She assured us that she would change our chips to mashed potatoes and extra mushy peas. She also recommended the delicious sea bass with great salad of tomatoes, cucumber, red and yellow...More

The 2 of us had to wait 20 minutes as it was a very busy saturday lunchtime but when we did eventually order I had sausage, chips and a curry sauce and my husband had the traditional cod and chips and both enjoyed our meals...More

We had a decent lunch here, but to be honest its nothing special. The fish serving wasn't huge, and if I hadn't asked for extra chips (which are free) then they wouldn't have been enough either. A tip - ask for the extra chips early....More

We went here for a quick lunch during a day out to the beach. The food was great and the service was even better! Carmina who worked there was so friendly and really funny, it made the whole experience even better and have already recommended...More

No idea! Call them. Worth a visit, especially if you are a senior citizen: great meal deal. Sorry for such a late response.

Description
Harry Ramsden's serve the same great quality fish and chips today that they have been since 1928. The brand was established 80 years ago, when Harry Ramsden opened his first takeaway store in a hut in Guiseley. His top quality fish and chips brought people from near and far and it wasn't long before Harry's became the most famous fish and chip shop brand in the world. The fish is freshly prepared in Harry's kitchens daily and has that distinctive flavour revered the world over. The menu includes the world famous battered fish with its closely guarded secret recipe, as well as an extensive choice of mouth-watering options and a fantastic children's menu, to satify all the family. We also serve a great grilled fish platter to share. Harry Ramsden's Brighton is opposite the pier and open every day except Christmas Day.
