From entering the building to leaving we were made to feel warmly welcomed, excellent service from our attentive waitress and a well thought out menu full of delights. Superb wine list and delicious food cooked to perfection and locally sourced. One of the best restaurants in the area and well worth another visit.

From the welcome when you arrive, to the time you leave, it's a warm and gratifying experience. The food is superb and nothing is too much trouble for your host or chef.

Ive lived in the area many years. Often thought of going here. We did tonight. The food was outstanding.we both ordered steak. It was beautifully cooked and perfect.the panacotta was equally nice. Very calming place. Not to pricey either.

On a quiet back street in St Leonards, just outside Hastings, we enjoyed a fine dinner with creative dishes, excellent friendly genuine service, and an authentic quality local offering. Dishes were generous and well presented. This is ideal if you stay at the Best Western and was recommended by another resto we visited. Good wine choices. Enjoy

We have been here a few times, the food is consistantly good, it also feels very special here, good to come for a special occassion, you can also dress up which makes a change. Very good wine list, the service is also second to none. Will definately come here again, we also like their sister resturant, The custom house.

We have eaten here several times, and the food is consistently very good. Wines by the glass enable everyone to sample what they want. The menu always includes old favourites as well as something different. Fish and seafood feature largely, but there is also steak for the conservative eater!

I ate here over the christmas period. The restaurant was very quiet which is a great shame because the food and service was of such a high quality. I thought the price we paid was very reasonable as well.

I love this place! We went on a Tuesday so it was quite quiet but the greeting was very friendly and, most importantly, the food was excellent. I had the Thai spiced pumpkin soup which was delicious and subtle and followed it up with a wonderful fish stew full of mussels, clams and fish, it was very good.....other dishes included... More
