It was a little chaotic when we arrived as several tables were booked at the same time. Staff got everyone seated and were friendly. Had a selection of starters and 4 different tagines, meat, veggie and fish. Food was OK but nothing special. Overall thought it was overpriced even with BYO.

Tiny friendly restaurant with good food and atmosphere. Friendly and great. Recommended for a simple, relaxed enjoyable meal, and very good value.

Café Maroc has a split personality, by day a Moroccan boutique, by night a café/bistro serving Moroccan staples. It is a reasonably priced venue and worth trying, the food is not so spicy as to discourage the less brave palate.

We had a lovely , informal family lunch in this authentic and cosy Moroccan restaurant. We had a mix meze dish as a starter to share with pitta bread followed by spicy fish Tagine for me and the lamb one for my husband. It's never a full meal without a desert so we had to try their delicious homemade cheesecake... More

I've been twice. The first time was okay, but I went again with friends. The second time, we had an 8pm reservation, and they did everything they could to get rid of us by 930! I've also been told by someone who used to work here that the owners keep the tips! This is a disgusting practice and I will... More

I cannot understand the review that stated they had bad service here as we have never had anything but great service and the food itself is just so Flavoursome They do both Vegetarian and meat options here so vegetarians can enjoy as well They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own although would suggest that you try the... I visited here with a few friends for pre Christmas meet up having visited before and food has always been good. Unfortunately on this occasion this was not the case one of our party had the vegetarian dish topped with an egg on, the egg was not cooked properly, the owner came and asked if our food was ok but he... A group of us came here on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday. It's a small restaurant that doubles up as a shop, which makes it a really fun and quirky place to have a meal. The restaurant is not licensed, so you need to bring your own alcohol. There's a £3 corkage charge for a bottle of wine,... More

We went to Cafe Maroc (second visit) to celebrate two birthdays. We booked a few days before as experience shows it gets busy. Atmosphere and service are very good. Food is obviously cooked by someone who knows Moroccan Tajine. No licence, so take your own drink - this was accommodated with no problem.

I love middle eastern/North African food, so was delighted to find this tiny restaurant in Hastings. The decor is very pretty and the owner/chef/waiter was very helpful and friendly. Sadly, on our weekday evening visit, the food was quite disappointing. There was only the set menu on offer, no other choices. Although good value at about £14 for 3 courses,... More
