I visited the Thai restaurant with friends after it being recommended to us, the food was very nice and authentic. From the moment we arrived at the restaurant we felt rushed, we were asked what we wanted to order before I'd actually picked the menu up and were given our final bill before our deserts had arrived. The waiter then... More

Heard and read many good reviews out this restaurant and we certainly were no disappointed. Intimate setting, we were sat in the Crime Fiction section, on a table for 2. You can take your own alcohol and you are provided with cool packs if you require them. Waitress introduced herself and then explained the menu. Kate was a credit to... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by several people.A small party of us booked a table for 8 and arrived on time.Between arriving and the main was 3 hours ,no word of a lie.The food was great .it is only a small place and there were about a dozen other folk in.My hunger had evaporated by the time I got... We have been wanting to try this restaurant for long time and last night we was not left disappointed. We were sat at a table for four in the Science section, and although some might find it claustrophobic we found it cosy, almost like we had our own booth. The two young waitress were very sweet and attentive to our... More

This is one of our favourite places to make a trip to and we now know how popular it has become as booking seems essential! The main dishes are often very good and June is always keen to make her dishes suit the customer. We look forward to her cooking, her greeting and the cosy atmosphere. Inevitably, we come away... We were given the Crime section table and thought it a little claustrophobic but still quaint. We were served promptly and our orders taken straight away. It was nice to have a jug of water put on the table without having to ask. The menu is interesting, although very limited. We ordered a salad for starters & when it arrived... More

A great meal again in this quaint bookshop. Lovely friendly service and so helpful with menu choices, spice levels etc. Starters are fresh and tasty. Curries authentic and delicious. BYO so very good value. Highly recommended.

As soon as we sat down the owner shouted at us because 2 people couldn't make it, appalling service.

What a gem of a place. Heard so many good things about this restaurant and so glad to have been. Food was freshly cooked but still a lot of choice. Options for non meat eaters. Corkage charge is low and prawn crackers were free as our table wasn't quite ready when we arrived. Great service and such a great atmosphere.... More

We managed to get a table here for my birthday when staying in Hastings. The setting is perfect for a cosy meal with our 3 month old baby, we looked at books whilst we waited for our food and actually ended up buying one. The food was sublime, so delicious! For starter I had a prawn salad and my husband... More
