During our weekend away we called in to watch a film at Kino. It was a lovely experience. Comfy seats, lots of legroom, good sound and picture quality. There is a cafe too and you can take drinks into the auditorium. They do not sell...popcorn on the basis that it is very distracting - hugely appreciated. However, all sorts of other treats are available. A lovely experience and would not hesitate to visit again.More
Nice little eatery, glad we found somewhere that had a warm, friendly welcome, nothing too much trouble, food was just right for a lunchtime, with plenty to chose from and beverages a plenty too, to suit everyone. Would certain recommend.
We were on a Johnson’s “Luxury” coach tour yesterday and came across this little gem of a cafe hidden away near the big clock. How I wish we lived closer! The courtyard was so attractive, modern and very clean looking. My husband and I ordered...smoked salmon and cheese bagels and were in awe of the amount of topping we had…absolutely delicious! My friend and I had the Gordon’s pink gin and tonic, which arrived with just the right amount of gin and flavoured with fresh strawberries! Absolutely wonderful. But the lovely thing was the friendliness of the staff who made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. I cannot recommend this Cafe highly enough and hope one day to be able to visit again.More
In Rye for the Blues and Jazz Festival and the terrace here is one of the locations. Called in for coffee and cake and was not disappointed. The terrace is excellent place to pass an hour. Coffee was good and the coconut and chocolate cake...first class. Staff very pleasant too.More
A very short stroll from the Church just off the busy road, a haven to sit down and have a drink or snack. The local Hornet Dry cider very refreshing or a glass of the English Biddenden wine.
We spent a day in Rye yesterday and had a light lunch here. The food was fresh, tasty and very nicely presented. The staff were warm and friendly which made for a really nice experience.

Had a pleasant lunch in this sunny courtyard and was pleased for the shade afforded by some parasols. We arrived 2pm so some of the dishes had sold out - but we enjoyed a fabulous fish pie and cheeseboard with a glass of white from...the local Biddenden vinyard. We followed this with a freshly baked scone and clotted cream. There is a cinema on site too if you have time for a film during your visit to Rye.More

The four star is only because we didn’t eat but we could see the food and spoke to other guests who were eating. Lovely little place. It’s also a small cinema. The locals we were speaking with said the cinema is wonderful and a complete...godsend to the town. Would have loved to stay for a film but were on a time limit so unable this time. We are determined to come another time to experience this.More

Nice staff and nice place to visit. We sat outside for a snack; coffee and tea. Staff were very helpful, attentive when they needed to be and provided extra hot water for more tea. Well priced. Social distancing was in place and observed and a...one way system in use for outside to insider to visit the WC area. Would recommend and return back. Worth asking what else they may have if you don't spot something on the menu. We wanted a small snack and the teacake hit the spot, which we did not see on the menu, but available when asking about small snack options. Food seen on other tables looked great.More

Hi recently went to the Kino Cinema Rye where there is a lovely little Cafe and Bar coffee was excellent and snacks for the cinema with good too .lovely toilets and a beautiful little place and the cinema is excellent too
