Only went there for lunch. There is little to add to the comments about poor, slow service which hasn't been said over the last five years, but maybe relating our experience might just make someone (if anyone is in charge) realise that serious remedial action is needed right now. An age to get a drink, another to order and two... More

What a fantastic place this is. A very civilised place to eat. Another of Rye's little gems. Really great food freshly prepared and cooked a very good variety from breakfast right through the day. Local produce used here which is great. Staff also very friendly and helpful. A great rear eating area with great views. And as a twist you... More

Popped in here for lunch. Had to wait a little while to get served due to being busy but definitely worth the wait. Menu is lovely and varied and the specials board always has a treat or two or three! Staff are always friendly despite being rushed off their feet!

Rye is not lacking when it comes to coffee shops. Each has its own characteristics but no other offers such a view over the harbour. Add the real fire, comprehensive menu and proper home made food and Hayden's is certainly worth a visit.

We spent a night in rye and ended up having 3 meals at haydens. We love their new conservatory. The food is superb with gluten-free options. My loved their home made soups.

Went for a day out and lunch in Rye. We were lucky, Hayden coffee shop had only one table empty, a good sign on a mid week day in winter. The food was superb, the service helpful and very friendly. I would definitely recommend Hayden for lunch

The location is right on the High St of Rye and central to everything you would want to see on your visit to Rye. The food is just mouth watering, breakfast is included and so is a welcoming cake and tea/coffee or glass of wine 🍷 or 🍺 with a bowl of crisp.
