Having moved to the coast a year ago we've tried all the usual fish and chips restaurants in and around Brighton. This place in Seaford knocks spots off them all! Fresh fish, lovely batter, amazing chips, and perfectly cooked. Yummy mushy peas, too. Well worth a detour to Seaford.

This is the place to go if you want good quality fish and chips in Seaford. The surroundings are old fashioned and staff hit and miss but the food is worth all of that.

Been visiting here for years.... first time on a Saturday.... None of the experienced staff were evident, no manager, thought Trawlers must have changed hands. Not welcomed, only two tables taken, at least four tables needed clearing..... (and we're not cleared or cleaned whilst we were there.) They got our order wrong, took 35 mins. I asked for a thick... A group of us visited in October when we spent the weekend in Seaford. Delicious food! Great value for money also; big portions for a good price. Will definitely be back when we next visit Seaford!

After a bracing coastal walk, locals recommended we try "Trawlers"in our search for fish 'n chips - and we weren't disappointed ! The most prominent table inside the restaurant part ( there's a take-away outlet connected via the kitchen ) was "reserved"....clearly a good sign, and although we easily found an early table, Trawlers filled up considerably by the time... First time in seaford and we fancied fish and chips. Saw Trawlers and decided to have a sit down lunch. The lady serving a but cool and not very friendly. Ordered 2 cod and chips and coffees. Did not appreciate 2 small cups. Fish and chips arrived, far too much batter and not enough fish, too many tasteless Chips,no peas. In my... More

Always fresh fish, beautifully prepared and served. Lots of alternative food. Best to book in advance. Have been dining here since 2003.

A well established local fish and chip shop, the take away is excellent usually cooked fresh while you wait. We have used the restaurant but I would have to agree with a previous review that it does not have a good atmosphere.

A huge selection of food for a fish and chip shop but they must cook eerything in the same oil as everything tastes of fish, not very exciting

We come often to this place but for the past few months it appears that management has given charge to employee teenagers during week ends and I need to confess the experience is going down hill. They should hire a more senior or experienced manager to run the place of the owners are not around.
