Much better places for lunch in Bourton but the staff were lovely. I have sausage and mash and the mash was not fully mashed and was lumpy although the sausages were excellent. My wife had cod n chips and her fish was very dry but...More

After a lengthy wait to get served, despite the pub being quiet, and there being staff chit chatting amongst themselves, the food we ordered was very tasty and good value. The man who served our food was clearly a lover of dogs which of course...More

Bourton deserves better than this. Scruffy pub that with the footfall through its door really should offer a better atmosphere, better decoration and better food. Very average on all counts.

Well thank you, really don't know how to respond to that review.

Went in for lunch and it was not particularly busy but we were completely ignored by the staff. Others (clearly local) were served immediately, we ended up walking out.

The sausages were the best I've ever tasted. Quick service with a smile. Dogs are welcome. Booking is recommended in high season.

Ate in the restaurant area. Very friendly staff and good service. Food was delicious but American sized portions. Was embarrassed we couldn't finish our meals. Would recommend.

Reading a previous review about the 'old pound coin' signs on the bar to say that they no longer take them (have no idea why as still legal tender, and they can still take them to the bank). We were also given one in our...More

Extremely dog friendly. They put plenty of water out especially for dogs and when we were there several dogs were sitting under the tables whilst their owners were eating.
