Lovely little French restaurant with real french country cooking. A real find, and we will return next year. Nice sauce. The restaurant is difficult to find but worth the search.

Fabulous authentic French restaurant. Petit in name and size, very authentic and perhaps slightly rustic (in a nice way). Lovely food. We had the duck - nicest for ages. Not to bad pricing. About £30pp mains, puss, drinks and service.

Classical French cooking done well, Tarte Tartin is my yardstick, it is unbelievable how many restaurants can’t do this properly but there was no need to worry here My new favourite restaurant, it’s only a small so hoping it goes not get too popular

Located in a basement downtown, this bistro offers excellent cuisine at a good price. The lamb is to die for (and I am not a fan of lamb) and the duck as well. The fish of the day was well prepared and was prepared in...More

This lovely restaurant is hidden away in a basement just off the High Street. I wouldn't have known it was there if it wasn't for a friend's recommendation. I'm so glad they told me about it. It is a small (seats about 20 people) place...More

Tucked away in a side street down a hard to find narrow staircase this little French restaurant is a real find. Simple tasty French food and a lovely ambiance. Booking is essential. Great for couples or small groups.

Without question, Petit Coco provided one of the finest experiences of French provincial cuisine that any of us - seasoned travellers - had ever experienced. That it happened in a small basement restaurant in Cheltenham is rather extraordinary. This restaurant has immediately become one of...More

I accessed the restaurant via some steep steps from the pavement into the basement restaurant area Unless there is a rear access then I would have thought getting in was close to impossible

It is relaxed, but very busy with little space between tables. Really it is up the parents to be able to assess their children's tolerance levels of this.
