Possibly a great kept secret in cheltenham.. well not any more. A Sunday roast at the local Kemble is a must. It's a friendly pub with regulars and great staff. The roasts are a bargain at £8 compared with some of the other costly roasts in Cheltenham. But at £8.. you will not be disappointed as they are HUGE. Lots... More

Found this cosy pub on an away day from Essex. Very friendly, clean and cosy. Nice little courtyard at the back, toilets exceptionally clean. Friendly welcome from Ben behind the bar. Good selection of real ales, well kept. Would definitely return if I was in the area again.

It's been some time since we visited this pub but so pleased that we came back, great refurb and excellent atmosphere with friendly staff. Good selection of beer in top condition. The chicken wings on the Friday evening were a lovely touch, will try the other meals next time.

Tucked away on a housing estate 5 minutes from the town centre this pub was a great find. After a day at the races this was a really great place to take the weight off our feet and relax with a few drinks. The pub was really buzzing with what seemed like a predominantly local clientele but that didn't stop... More

Got to be the best Sunday lunch we have had in Cheltenham. Came round as three adults and three small children. The atmosphere is a proper community feel without being cliquey. The staff were great fun and the Sunday roast was epic, home cooked plentiful and great value. I would thoroughly recommend this place!!!

We've come here a number of times before matches at Whaddon Road, guided by friends who live locally - they know their stuff, as it's a really great pub. Yes, it's a little on the small side, particularly on a busy match day, but it's worth the crush in order to enjoy an excellent array of ales, a widescreen tv... More

So lovely to find a hidden jem. No fuss sort of place. Meals straight forward and tasty. lamb stew - cooked to perfection with barley and sweet carrots. Cheap Pints. Barman was nearly as happy as that guy in Waitrose. Happy faces all round :-)

Attending a football match and pub was recommended. Good recommendation, good range of beers, friendly atmosphere, both staff and locals. Food good, portions were too large for me but tried my best.
