With room for 120 covers, the Indian Brasserie provides guests with a chance to enjoy superb-quality Indian cuisine in a thoroughly relaxed atmosphere, at a pace that suits them. With a stylish new refurbishment, the Brasserie is chic and luxurious, complemented by contemporary decor, wooden flooring and leather seating. The menu offers a wonderfully wide selection of dishes, and the staff are only too delighted to make suggestions should the decision be too much. Jali kebab, the exquisite salmon machli and jhinga til tinka are just some of the starter dishes on offer. The chatga jhinga was recommended as a main being 'a fabulous choice, colourful, aromatic and bursting with authentic flavours'. We chose this restaurant based on its excellent reviews and it really did not disappoint! The customer service we received was incredible and the dishes recommended to us based on the flavours we like were spot on. Dada looked after us incredibly well, even giving us an extra pudding as it was a celebration meal for the both of us. The flavours in the dishes were incredible and it was a really relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. We shall definitely plan to come back sometime in the future and shall be recommending this place to family/friends. Thankyou!

Came to the restaurant totally by chance and was very impressed. Service from friendly staff and one of the best Indian meals we have ever had. We chose two dishes from the Southern Indian Specialties and were certainly not disappointed. Price was average but food was certainly well above average - if we lived closer we would use on a very regular basis.

We too came here seeking solace after watching The Stags lose to Cheltenham FC. Wow - what amazing food, up there with the best Indian dishes we have ever tasted. Dada was a great host (and a KKR fan) and the New Chef produces amazing flavours. Like others have said, service was attentive without being too invasive. Check out the sag bhajee - chicken tikka and kholee uppakari also exceptional.

We visited Indian Brasserie numerous times because of the service and the quality of the food but not this time . We are a big family and want to celebrate our son birthday We thought we can make a use of Taste card and restaurant loyalty card which offers 2for1 I rang to make a reservation asking of we can use the offer the waiter guaranteed that no problem whatsoever. We ordered food ( no starter ) with 6 popadom the manager told the waiter to bring 8 as complimentary we thought how nice . Then a big tray of starter came we said we did not ordered again the manager insisted its the complimentary because its for the birthday quest we thought how nice . We did not have much to drink just tap water , pint of beer and 3 j20 . the bills with 2for1 should come around £70 when we went to pay the bills was almost triple and they said we do not use taste card . My husband was very calm and talked sense to them and they allow us to use the loyalty card in the end. this is the first restaurant review and its the last thing O want to do as we are in the same trade I know how its like in this climate but to be rip off and taking advantage of the customers is such a bad thing to do . So beware . Apart from that the food was great and we did enjoyed it . To go back there again No.

Visited here as part of Cheltenham Curry Club. Really big improvement since our last visit. New chef apparently and the food was really good. Great service too. We were recommended dishes based on our individual tastes and they got it spot on. Well worth a visit.

I was disappointed by my usual indian last time I went so thought I would try somewhere new. I am very glad I did. Dada and his team were very welcoming to myself as a first time customer. We were the first guests of the evening, by the time we left the restaurant was full but it didnt feel too noisy. Dada told us that the chef was from a hotel called taj bengal which I googled and its a 5* hotel in india. The food was great, I normally steer clear of starters in favour of poppadoms but the starter tasted lovely as did the main course. I am an elite athlete and I really struggle to get enough protein when I eat out but I felt the portions were generous, lots of chicken but I did ask for extra chicken. Will revist for sure.

Last week I took visiting relatives to this resteraunt and we had a lovely evening. The service was just right, attentive but not overbearing and the food choice and food was wonderful. Two of our party had the vegetarian main courses and there was adequate choice for all. Occasionally I have used the resteraunt’s take away service which also gives the same food choices and provides the same great food.

Just got back from Cheltenham, had a great time in the Indian Brasserie on Bath road. The restaurant was very clean with a nice relaxed atmosphere, The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our tastes , service was excellent and didn't feel "hurried"
The menu was rich in choice and portions generous,food was nicely presented and delicious.
Will definitely return soon and heartily recommend the venue. Mike@Magsda.

On Thursday evening we had a team meal for 13 at the Indian Brasserie and I was really impressed. The food quality was amazing (faultless chicken breast meat) and the service matched, the excellence. I would definitely recommend.

We tried dishes from southern India that we had never tried before and they were truly delicious. We love how much attention they paid to the sides as well - the vegetable rice was like a meal in itself and the peshwari naan was so light and fluffy. It seemed to us like all of their condiments were home made as they were a little bit different and again extra tasty. The service was friendly, quick and attentive. Guests were well spaced out and we saw staff thoroughly cleaning after customers had left. Hand sanitiser was available at the front and back of the restaurant.

This was our first foray into eating out since lockdown in March. We ere a bit apprehensive about going out. However we were greeted well and it was clear that there was adequate spacing between the tables and it wasn’t that busy, hopefully intentionally. Quite why the staff masks were sort of on and often not was a little puzzling. The menu is very varied and not too extensive. We started with sheesh kebabs which were very tasty if a little too salty. The mains were well portioned , served and delicious comprising a lovely tender lamb, a nice prawn tika masala and a tasty southern Indian chicken dish. The chicken itself was rather dry and lacking In flavour. However, overall a most enjoyable experience and we will certainly be back soon

We made a booking for 4 people and were seated socially distanced in the side room, which suited us very well as we wanted to be able to enjoy a long-awaited social meal after months of Covid lockdown. We were looked after extremely well, with discreet attention, and all our needs were met promptly. We opted for a mixed platter of starters suggested by Dada, but ordered our own main courses - all of it excellent. We will definitely be going back again.

We came to this restaurant and the food was amazing. The owner came up to us and asked us what kind of flavours we liked and how spicy we wanted our food. He recommended a couple of chicken dishes which did not disappoint. The ingredients were fresh and the naan bread was soft. Would definitely recommend

Our family had an excellent evening here last week. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend it. We are a family of five and the waiters and manager were very helpful and gave some great recommendations for our children.
It is also worth mentioning that I thought the restaurant was clean and felt covid secure with the tables nicely spread apart. Therefore I wouldn't hesitate in returning.

Ate here as a group of 5 when visiting family in the area.
The tables have been set out with care to give space between groups, there were a few tables in and a roaring takeaway trade.
Service was friendly, attentive and prompt but not rushed.
Between us we had a broad range of starters, mains and sides, from some very traditional favourites to some that we had never tried before. Without exception they were beautifully flavoured and well presented.
As a vegetarian I found the choice great, I had onion Bhaji followed by a chilli paneer dish - both were fab. The rice portions were generous (one easily fed two) and the naan were light and fluffy.
Each of us enjoyed our meal and left full and happy - can’t ask for more than that!
My only regret is it’s not my local as I would definitely be a regular visitor!
