Visited on a recommendation following the refurbishment of this formerly dingy pub and hardly recognised it! Now serving really good sourdough pizzas and has an excellent range of real ales available. Very friendly staff and service was spot-on, will definitely be visiting again.

I never managed to visit this place in its previous incarnation as an old style boozer serving Thai food but I’m told by my drinking buddy that it had ‘character’. The modernisation has been done reasonably well but I have to say it’s now just...More

Had a few brilliant evenings in the Suffolk, great beer and I love the pizza - the staff have always been really friendly too! Would recommend anyone trying it out, they have only been open since September!

Stopped by a few days ago, looks great inside. Very friendly atmosphere and attractive bar staff. I'll be sure to leave my number on the bar for the guy in the hoody and glasses next time. Food is nice also.

Service was so slow but I think there was only one barman and one waitress to work the bar and serve the food. We asked for a Margarita with raw onion. The onion wasn’t raw it was ‘caramelised’ but tasted like it was pickled. The...More

Hello, we apologise that your visit was not what you expected. December was a very busy month for us and we regret the service was slow. The margarita pizza is designed on an authentic neopolitan pizza recipe with san manzarno tomatoes. We can in future...More

Excellent discovery, down the road from my partners house. Great food, warm welcome, staff had fantastic knowledge of ales and gins! Great pub, ignore the previous reviews, some people just love to moan. This place is great!

Visited midweek, empty, but great decor, food was good and reasonable price. They need to do pastries and cakes during the day for ladies who lunch! Or we will walk past and go to Morans instead!

Granted, The Suffolk Arms was in need of a makeover and the new decor is a big improvement. However, in the process of being modernised, the pub has sadly lost much of its charm. It’s warm, but not so welcoming. The Thai food that used...More

Cheltenham's new modern local. A great range of draught beers + cask ales, artisan gin + delicious stonebaked pizza.
