Positives: Very good food.
Negatives: I sent an email before ordering but got no reply. Food is expensive compared to competitors. There is a charge for paying by card - really? There is a delivery charge for less than a mile radius - competitors are free. Long wait for food to be delivered.
On balance I'm not sure the extra expense is worth it.

Maybe for too long we took the “Take Away” for granted? It filled a gap of laziness, or quick dinner when working late perhaps? COVID19 presented new choices for eating and removed so many first preference votes in a very restricted culinary world. Rogan Josh became a very important part of our weekly dining experience and we had never used their services before.
Of necessity I’m sure, there were a few weeks of limited menu choice but through it all they beavered away cooking delicious, authentic and perfectly balanced dishes. I’m hoping for another delivery of my favourite King Prawn Dansak tonight.
Cannot thank you guys enough for the wonderful food and brilliant service, you made our weekly Indian meal something special to look forward to during some very socially deprived months.

Had my first Indian meal last night (not a fan of spicy food)
Ordered a takeaway and it was delivered on time. Food piping hot and smelt wonderful.
Loved the kurma (korma), masala, rice and naan breads. Just what we needed after a busy day of decorating.
Will definitely be ordering again soon. Thanks guys. 👍

The food delivered on Sunday night was not good at all. The house special was just dull lumpy brown chicken "stuff" and I couldn't tell what was special about it. Kormas (Kurma) were a slightly lighter brown colour . NONE of it looked appetizing, all of it was bland, brown and lumpy.. I regretted spending the money on it, which is about as bad as it gets. There are too many other restaurants in Cheltenham to try, so I won't be ordering from here again. No idea how they won an award last year!

We were recommended this restaurant by my mother, who lives in Cheltenham. The website states that it delivers to up to 6.5 miles away. We live 6.1 miles away. We put in our postcode, which was accepted, placed our order, which was accepted, and paid which was also accepted. Then we received a phone call from the restaurant saying they do not deliver to our area (Brockworth) even though it is well within their delivery limit.
My mother lives in a retirement complex and she wanted me to register her and some of her neighbours online to use this restaurant. I will now no longer be doing this for this particular restaurant

I have used this restaurant many times and the food is wonderful. However, on the last two occasions of ordering online through their own website, I have not received my order.
I received a confirmation email that my order was accepted and another saying it would be 1hour 15mins for delivery. Longer waiting times are acceptable for a Saturday night.
After 1hour 45mins, I called, to be told they had lost my order and that they have to manually type it into their system and they’d missed it. That’s twice now.
If you want to order anything, I suggest you call, do not rely on their website as it does not work!!!!

Decided to order a takeaway from here as our most local Indian was closed due to Coronavirus.
We did have to wait over an hour for it to come and it was about 10 minutes late. As we were dishing it out we realised one of the items was missing and one of the sauce containers had leaked all over the bottom of the bag. The poppadums we got were a little crushed too.
The food was not especially memorable but as we are in the middle of a health crisis I can somewhat sympathise. Wish it could have been better.

Placed an order for delivery & it (kind of) arrived in time. Slight mix up with delivery address, unsure of how the issue occurred (me or the shop). The shop made a point of calling me as soon as the delivery driver made them aware of the situation, the gentleman who called couldn’t have been more apologetic & refunded 50% of my order. Food was absolutely delicious & warm enough to eat. Definitely the best Indian in Cheltenham who clearly care about their customers

1st time trying Rohan Josh. Food was excellent but thought the portions just a tad small. Order was spot on and arrived in about an hour which considering the Covid situation is quite good. Food was luke warm but I can live with that as easy to heat up. Delivery charge is somewhat confusing considering my location to Winchcombe St. Worth a try as the food was very good.

Great food and good delivery as always.
There are some recent poor reviews but our experience was very good and the food tasted great. It was very fresh even though we ordered at a busy time. We would definitely recommend Rogan Josh and will be ordering from here again.

Ordered for delivery. The korma was delicious and the jalfrezi was tasty. Our starters and mains arrived hot and the portion size was good. This is the best curry we’ve found in Cheltenham so far and we will be ordering again!

Haven’t ordered for a while and won’t ever order from them again! It’s completely gone down hill. We used to love their takeaways. My biryani was really bland. The entire takeaway lacked flavour. I ended up making myself a sandwich as couldn’t eat any of it.

This review has been a long time coming, apologies. Best curry I've had in Cheltenham. I always pick a different one as I have never been wowed but both me and my partner loved this place! The popadoms are excellent, curries superb and staff were so helpful when I had a query. 5/5

My partner and I had takeaway from Rogan Josh for the first time this evening, and we’re both so impressed. Great range of vegan options too which is a big bonus. Will definitely order again.

If you want an authentic tasting curry, Rogan Josh is the place to come to. I’ve only tried the lamb curries here but they do not disappoint and the portion size of generous.
