The pub itself was pleasant enough and the staff were friendly but the food was only average. The menu was very limited but there was a wide selection of burgers which is fine if you are a fan of burgers.

Haven’t been here for a while and we were greatly impressed with everything - the staff were really friendly and helpful, food was delicious, my husband loved the ale selection....and a fantastic outdoor area with cubby holes to sit in. We will definitely be back...More

Attended a birthday party for a close friend. Staff could not have been more helpful. Was able to reserve tables inside and booths outside - which have charging points! Food was really good quality burgers chicken and vegetarian option all went down well. Definitely recommended.

This is a nice pub with a lovely atmosphere. The meals, although above average in price and the portions are small, are delicious and well presented. If the portion sizes were bigger they'd be perfect, just stop scrimping on the fries!

My husband and I were visiting from Canada; we were staying at a B&B and wanted someplace within walking distance, so we tried The Hewlett. We loved it! Even though it was sunny, we chose to eat inside, near an open wall. The service was...More

A lovely decorated pub with kind and friendly staff. Ideal place to go and have a few quiet beers with friends. Food is available, but didn't try it on this occasion.
