With something for everyone you can enjoy well-kept cask ales and local ciders in the bar, dine in the attractive conservatory overlooking the cricket ground and pavilion, or relax in the beer garden. Our menu is made up of sensibly priced, delicious home cooked dishes, and offers plenty of choice from quick lunchtime snacks to full three course meals. We have an excellent reputation for our Sunday lunches and recently received full marks from the Gloucestershire Echo's mystery diner.

My wife and her 101 year old mother had a roast dinner each. 2 of Pork and 1 of Turkey. The food was of very poor quality. Tasteless and left us VERY disappointed

I had dinner with a friend here this evening. We arrived early but were welcomed to a table in the restaurant area by a very friendly barman and were given the menu and also tea which we ordered! He gave us time to order and...couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. It was steak night so extra good value. My friend had steak and I had a burger - both were well cooked and delicious. Her cheesecake was homemade and gorgeous.More

We can’t fault the wonderful meal and service that we had Thursday evening last week when 21 of us got together. Many thanks to Dawn, the chef, for the delicious and generous portions and to Aaron and Josh for the attentive and friendly table and...bar service. I’ve had brilliant feedback about everything. Some of the dishes that got a particular mention were the sweet chilli salmon, beef brisket and lemon posset. Thanks again for a wonderful evening.More

Don't know what standard of food the previous reviewers are used to but our experience was disgusting. The Restaurant was empty on arrival at 8pm another couple came in after us. We sent our food back it was so bad and the couple on the...other table had to do the same. Couldn't believe they would serve up such bad food it looked like leftovers from the previous day.More

Incredible food, seriously good! Incredible, well kept beers, attentive staff even though they were really busy. Amber was a hero! Really looks after you. You need to eat here!

Food we had today was very good. Traditional Sunday lunch served piping hot, generous portions and quick service. Recommended

We had booked a last minute lunch as a group of friends, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Great food, great value, and a great atmosphere with excellent service. I look forward to popping by again the next time I'm in Cheltenham!

We visited the Bell on a Wednesday evening (steak night) so yeah you guessed it we both had the sirloin steak, great value at £12. Supplement for a peppercorn sauce which had a real kick. Had curried parsnip soup as a starter which was very warming...and came with granary bread. Had a little space left for a dessert but the choice was a little limited.More
