The Aviator did not disappoint a Xmas meal for a large group of us. Food was plentiful and tasty. Not always easy when catering for so many. All served up in a relatively quick fashion too so hot where it was supposed to be. I’d...definitely recommend checking them out if booking a works party or family gathering.More

Another excellent Sunday lunch starting with very tasty prawn cocktail followed by roast pork and roast chicken large portions and lovely and hot. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. Service is very quick. Visited weekdays also serving breakfast, lunch, dinner there is a selection...of nice cakes and hot drinks. Very clean and love all the hanging old planes. We will be back. We had the pie of the day on our 1 visit now the bridge is open again! ! Absolutely chock full of tender beef and tasty homemade pastry, massive portion. One friend needed a doggy bag! On the 2nd visit this month I had jacket...potato with chilli con carne. Just hot enough for me as I don’t like it to hot! They are Always friendly here. Proper pub grub ! Well done. Beautiful decor, very homely and overlooking the airport, stunning at night. Staff were immediately welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. The food was delicious and very generous portions. Can’t recommend this place high enough. Well worth a visit

What a great pub. We had been for breakfast previously and thought we’d try Sunday lunch. A group of 6 with two dogs. It was all fab, starting with the warm welcome to humans and dogs and making sure we were comfy at our table....Followed by great service, really good choices for Sunday Roast ,lots of veggies, gravy and super puddings too. Nothing was too much trouble. Very reasonably priced. Needless to say we will go again.More

The Aviator is a friendly place to go for all the family staff are always welcoming. Our meals was first class and the service was excellent. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone

The Aviator are now doing themed evenings and yesterday evening happened to be pizza! We were expecting the usual options, but no - the little chalk board notice on the bar advised that you could create your own. It was superb, tomato, onion, peppers, pineapple...and cheddar cheese.More

The Aviator is a lovely place to visit. The staff are always extremely friendly and welcoming. Whether visiting for a coffee and teacake in the morning or a home-cooked meal in the evening, the service and value are outstanding. Tonight the lemon syllabub was particularly...delicious and very nostalgic for me as it was just like the ones my Grandma used to make!More

Fabulous evening meal with friends and looking forward to coming again. Would thoroughly recommend the chicken burger that was on the specials board.

Excellent place to break your journey on the M5. Superb staff, James and Pat looked after us 👌. Very good quality food with a great selection and a well stocked bar. Smashing outside seating area with a view of the airport runway. Highly recommended.
