Very nice location at Gloucestershire airport with fantastic view and very the airfield. No seats available at one o'clock. Had to wait to get seats at a shared table which speaks to the popularity of the spot. The food is tasty and service friendly and prompt. Clean and pleasant atmosphere.

We went here for lunch 21st April. We were advised at 1115 , no food until midday. Not a problem , but breakfasts were still being served and that would have worked for us. We have jacket potatoes and also a chicken panini. Good value , hot and tasty food. Great place to inspire kids to fly as it's right... More

Been to The Aviator on several occasions. This time however we stopped for food. We visited The Aviator on Sunday in glorious sunshine. We bagged the last bench outside and watched the private jets take off and land. We decided to order food, all very reasonable prices and seeing the plates coming out you get great value for money. I... More

Good sized portions and had a nice home cooked feel to it. We had children's sausage and chips, a steak and pie of the day. All yummy and arrived lovely and hot. Looks like someone has made an effort with the decor and the loos were modern and clean. From the outside it looks like Pontins but don't be put... More

Having booked for Sunday Lunch, on arrival we were shown to our table and served immediately. Our party selected the beef and lamb roasts and everything was cooked to perfection and served with fresh vegetables. The children's meal was a generous portion. Although we did not have a starter, we managed a dessert and the homemade white chocolate and raspberry... More

We love this place and have been several times but after a trip to the Jet Age Museum it seemed the obvious place to go (as the museum cafe had shut for the day). Straightforward food but really friendly staff and you are not rushed at all so you can sit and watch the very busy airfield. The only problem... More

Took a short detour from the M5 whilst travelling to Devon - a far better lunch option than motorway services. My wife and I both chose ham and mushroom omelette, that came with chips and salad. It was really good, a nice big omelette with plenty of ham and mushrooms - delicious. This was my third visit and I will... More

All good stuff.... Friendly staff and down to earth food at reasonable prices... Then there's the splendid view of the runway and aircraft activity too! Recommended... But advise booking a table at weekends, it gets very very busy!

Last came here as a child! We had a leisurely lunch with a window table. Plenty of room, comfy chairs, big portions & good food. Staff were really nice & the coffee was nice too. We did pre book as it does get busy. Lots of parking & there's always something going on at the airport to watch. Nice outside... More
