My husband and I visited on a busy Saturday. We ordered at the till and the staff member who served us was very friendly. Our hot drinks arrived almost immediately which was really refreshing. A very short while later our salads arrived - we both had goats cheese and beetroot salads which were reasonably priced at £6.95 each. The food was delicious. There was a vibrant atmosphere in the cafe but it was relaxing and casual at the same time. The staff were all working hard and seemed to be on top of the busy workload. I would highly recommend.

Popped in here for a coffee stop whilst exploring the town. We had wanted to find somewhere that wasn’t a big chain and was community oriented and this seemed like the spot. Service was polite and helpful, we enjoyed a nice coffee and chocolate cake amongst the bustle of a busy cafe, we instantly felt welcome and it was exactly what we were looking for.

We had a lovely lunch jacket potatoes with fillings of Tuna for one I had bacon and beans very nicely presented and very filling. The staff listened to my needs of no butter or dressing and came exactly as I ordered. We stayed for tea and coffee afterwards which came in proper china cups which was lovely to have the old fashioned way after all we were ladies in our 70s and 80s Thank you for a most lovely lunch we are coming back as your cakes looked amazing as well as the cream tea.

I’m surprised to read the largely positive reviews of this place. I found it underwhelming and seriously overpriced. £7.95 for a bowl of soup is excessive. £8.95 for a jacket potato with some miserable green leaves on the side is just ridiculous. The jacket potato was undercooked and not baked. Very poor selection of vegetarian food. Based on their fare and the quality, their prices are about 40 percent more than they should be. Avoid.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I’m wondering if you looked at our menu before ordering as the prices are clearly displayed. Actually we are one of the more reasonable independent cafes in town. Also our vegetarian options include soup, frittata, 3 salads, 3 toasties and a couple of sandwich options. If there was a problem with your meal we would happily fix it if you let us know - as you didn’t I’m guessing that’s why we received a poor rating on service too? As for atmosphere - who knows?

Had a great little lunch here today with my children and our friends. Slightly off the beaten track which we liked as it wasn't overcrowded like some places we passed on the high street. We had a mixture of sandwiches, toasties and paninis as well as hot drinks and cakes; everyone was very happy with their orders.

Called in to have a bacon sandwich and coffee (x2), staff very polite , however I asked that the bacon had the fat cut off, staff said it would be, it arrived all the fat was left on, and it was horrible. thus once I took the fat off very little bacon was left on it. I will not be returning and will advise my friends not to.

Sat here now just finished my Coronation Chicken sandwich which I waited half an hour for. I ordered that, a jacket spud with chilli, a coke and black coffee. The food took half an hour to arrive and the drinks came after the food! (Despite chasing up where it was) My sandwich was ok. £6.25. Thought it would have a side salad or something but just had one lettuce leaf! 😂. It was nice but do put more filling in. My wife’s jacket potato was way undercooked. She had to mash it to soften it, the ‘chilli’ was one spoonful and had no flavour at all. All in all. Ultra slow service. Below average food and I feel giving a three is generous but my wife wouldn’t let me leave a two….

Hi Jamie So sorry you didn’t enjoy your visit - even though your sandwich was nice and your wife was happy. Having looked at all your previous reviews it seems you always manage to find something negative. Wishing you all the best in your search.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID. Only come here if you want to be subjected to the rudest set of servers I’ve encountered for a long time. Surly, lazy, too busy gossiping and snacking behind the counter to care about customers. We had to ask 3 times for our order (3x teas and a scone) to be brought out correctly and each time, we were basically tutted at, as if it were our fault. Service with a smile? Forget about it! Sulky service would have been better than this truculent catastroph-tea.

Went in for a cup of tea and ended with two slices of cake (which were both amazing by the way). The staff were amazing and catered to my daughter who is gluten free, taking extra care coming to her food, all whilst having a smile on their face. Hard to find but worth the trip, I will definitely be coming back!

We'd not tried this cafe' before and thought we'd give it a go. I must admit to being a regular at the likes of Coffee1 and Cafe Nero so probably fair to say I like a more robust coffee. I'm afraid the coffee here is not for the serious coffee lover, it was mild flavoured warm milk, reminded me of a coffee machine set for less than one shot per cup. My partner found it even weaker that the latte she had and she's not a serious coffee drinker. It was full on last Saturday afternoon so didn't raise it with the staff at the time as they were pretty busy. A serious suggestion for the owner/manager - visit one of those I've mentioned and taste what a flat white should be like... :-)

You could easily miss this nice little cafe as it’s tucked away off the market hall. We decided to have a light lunch but as soon as I spotted the home baked cakes I knew I couldn’t leave without trying one. Between us we had a slice of frittata which came with lettuce & home made dressing. It was excellent. I then had a large piece of Victoria sponge which was delicious & so light. My partner had a scone with jam & cream which she said was very good indeed. We also had a pot of tea for two, which came in a lovely china tea pot with china cups & saucers. The staff were very nice & attentive so it was an all-round nice experience.

We popped by here recently simply to grab a cuppa and take a rest. I was pleased to see that there was easy access for the disabled - it meant that I could push my mother in her wheelchair directly to a free table and then order at the counter. After refreshing ourselves with cafe lattes and hot chocolates and generally taking a break, we were ready to continue our short explorative walk around the centre of this beautiful old town,

We contacted the owner to enquire about having a gluten and dairy free birthday cake made for a family member's private dinner at an adjacent hotel. We live two hours from Cirencester. Without ever having met we discussed, chose and ordered (what turned out to be) a fabulous main cake with a selection of smaller cakes. Everything turned out just as we planned and the cakes were delivered to the hotel before we arrived. We popped in to say our thanks upon arrival. Highly recommended and the cafe looks fabulous too!

This cafe is situated at the back of the Corn Hall Market, which is off the main shopping street. It can get very busy, this was the first time we were able to get a table as it is very popular with locals and visitors alike. We had peppermint tea, although there was a wide range of drinks available as well as cakes, sandwiches etc. the table next to us had very appetising bacon sandwiches. It’s accessible to prams and wheelchairs. Order at the counter and it’s brought to your table. Toilets are downstairs.

A light lunch for 4. A great spot tucked away in the centre of Cirencester. Toasted sandwiches and Paninis fitted the bill together with milkshakes and coffee. Just right for Lunchtime. Pleasant attentive staff - good quality food. Thanks
