I popped in here for a quick bite to eat on a weekday evening. The service was excellent from the waitress, and the atmosphere was so relaxed and chilled I even managed to get a little bit of work done! It seems odd to comment on the lighting but it was just right! I’ve been in a few places recently where it’s either too dark to see your dinner, or the lights are so bright there is no ambiance. The menu was small but well formed, and the burger was absolutely delicious as well as good value. I will most definitely be back again whilst I’m visiting Cirencester to try out more of the menu.

After sauntering through Cirencester at 5ish with two hungry teens, we were desperate to find somewhere that could accommodate us. Pub grub and pizzerias were either too pricey, too full or full of the same old grub as everywhere else. Just when we thought we’d reached the end of town and were out of options, we found Somewhere Else (literally). A true hallelujah moment. The menu suited all our tastes, was great value for money and the service was warm, welcoming and accommodating. We really couldn’t have asked for a better place to eat today. The decor was fresh and clean, with quirky edges that really gave the place some zest. If ever in Cirencester again, we’ll certainly be returning.

You can tell lots of effort has gone into making improvements at SWE over the last year or so. The menu is full of so many delicious sounding options that it’s actually hard to decide what to eat and the bar refurb has made the space feel light and modern. Eaten here a couple of times over the past few weeks. They have their COVID measures spot on and you order via your phone on their website. We have eaten under the Eat Out to Help Out scheme but I’d have been just as willing to pay full price for the food we got. The food is so tasty with loads of flavour. There are lots of proper salad choices which go beyond the realms of lettuce and tomatoes. Particular favourites are the nachos and the halloumi wrap.

Went today for my partners birthday for lunch and we were welcomed with a warm friendly greeting and seated quickly. We were offered two menus for different tastes, chicken, burgers and loaded fries or Indian, we went for the Indian food and it was exceptional, they even made a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu for my partner by request. Great staff lovely food and welcoming.

I visited Cirencester today and parked just on the outskirts of the town centre on Sheep Street. On our walk into town, we came across this lovely bar / eatery which made us very welcome and tempted us with a tasty lunchtime menu. The OG chicken burger was delicious and the Chilli Cheese fries superb. Coffees were excellent, service was quick and friendly, and the Covid safeguards were very effective making us feel safe and comfortable. I would strongly recommend, and wouldn't hesitate to go back again if we are back in the area.

Lovely place, bright and warm on a cold winter day. Busy for a Thursday lunchtime but we got a table. Menu looked impressive, not often you find a place with several good salad options to choose from. I like the set up with the salads and sandwiches, you choose a base and then pick the add ons you want. I ordered the Mother Earth salad (rocket, mushrooms, beetroot, kale crisps, crispy onions and truffle mayo), I added brown rice and salmon. For under £9 it was good sized portion and VERY yummy!! My partner had the lamb burger and fries which he said was really good. We will definitely be returning to try more salads, burgers and the nachos looked good!!

We had a lovely meal here. Staff were attentive and service was very efficient. We ate from both of the pop-up kitchen menus and the food arrived almost together. Great choice of vegan food and they made our dog very welcome too. Would definitely come back again.

6 of us lunched at Somewhere Else in Cirencester. The waitresses were very welcoming and we didn't have to wait to have our orders taken, and the unobtrusively checked that everything was all right with our meal. The menu is eclectic with a selection of European inspired light bites, Indian curries and sizzling platters and fusion tacos. 3 of our party had the brie and mago parcels and all plates were cleared. I had the sizzling paneer platter which was excellent. Dad had the birthday suit curry, which was smooth with a really spicy kick: Mum and I dug in to help him finish the plate. My son had the ginger curry which was very tasty. Accompanied with naan bread and chips this was a very satisfying meal. Only 4 of us could manage pudding and had the Indian donuts X 2, mango and raspberry sundae and mango popping kulfi: all delicious and all plates cleared. An excellent lunch, very reasonably priced.

I sympathise with restaurants having to adopt different ways of working due to Coronavirus but what started out as brunch turned into lunch. We waited an hour for our food which was time we didn’t have, lucky it wasn’t a work day. Disappointing.

Somewhere else has long been a lovely, fun and friendly bar. Andy and the team always greet with a smile, and go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. I visited yesterday with some of my children (youngest 20th birthday), and the food from Asha’s kitchen was fantastic. We couldn’t choose so asked them to decide for us, then came and explained the dishes, we weren’t disappointed, they even bought out a cake and a candle for the birthday boy which was a great touch. Thanks again to Andy and the team, hope to see you all soon.

The menu (by Asha) has an Indian vibe but is hugely varied, with incredible salads, burgers, grilled salmon, as well as your traditional curry favourites like korma, dansak (amazing!) rogan and even a vindaloo. The Asha menu is not served every day but is well worth it! The environment is classy, quirky and comfy, with 70s pop tunes at a tasteful volume. A good selection of drinks and friendly, prompt service and very reasonable prices round out a wonderful experience. My new favourite restaurant.

Cannot recommend visiting here enough! We just stumbled upon it while wandering through cirencester. Drinks menu is fab! Great selection of Cocktails, wine and beers. The pop up food menu I loved as we were able to order various dishes to share and wow it was all delicious. Beautifully decorated inside and staff are so welcoming and friendly! Can’t wait to go back

My husband and I visited somewhere else today on a birthday trip to Cirencester and absolutely loved it! The cocktails were amazing especially the Miami vice, the sushi was so so yummy but mostly the girls working were so polite and lovely to chat with! Definitely recommend this place! 10/10 xxx

I don’t even want to give one star. We waited for more than an hour and never got our food. We asked three times how long it would take and the first time they told us five minutes, the second time they told us ten miutes and finally we left. We paid for one beer: 10 pounds!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Casual with friendly staff. Two pop up kitchens - Asha Indian Kitchen and Munch Munch. My husband and I chose Indian which was so good and the kids had chicken and Chips; really tasty chicken. Portions sizes were good. Was exactly what we were looking for.
