Really nice atmosphere in the cafe, warm fire and surprisingly big seating area. Good choice of cake but coffee dreadful. Good shop for all healthy/fad foods with lots of choice vegetables and interesting, diverse selection of dry goods. Well worth a visit.

The food here is incredible (a bit expensive, but understandable) and the design of the place is really attractive; I love all the Indian touches and looking around the shop after eating here. However, the cafe is very rules-oriented (lots of signs about where children can/can't go, and you can't even feed a baby with baby food from home, you... More

Wanted to like this place more. Plenty of parking, outside space for children, good farm shop with good quality food. The coffee at the cafe was not made well, too hot and burnt and slow. The veg stew was ok and the nut roast bland. The staff are friendly and I'd come back for one of the salads.

I travel miles for a salad during the week. The cafe is warm and has a relaxed atmosphere. It might be good to give the building a bit of a face lift as they don't look anything like the photos on the website. I repeat that the food is excellent.

Having been here a few times last winter and enjoyed the warmth of their log fire and the selection of cakes, we decided to cycle there for more of the same yesterday. What a disappointment. Despite it being a very cold day the fire wasn't lit which was an unwelcome surprise. It was busy, but not massively so and there... More

We come here for the food whenever we can, and we are never disappointed. It is relaxed and informal, and not posh. In the past the service has been quite slow, but they seemed to have extra help in the food preparation area, and our food came quite quickly, even though they were busy. The food as always was a... This place is very useful to know about. They always have something vegan offer. It's very popular and I had to queue for 15 minutes and then wait for the soup and bread for a further 15 minutes. Really that was too much waiting but the food was enjoyable and warm. Water is available from a serve yourself area which... More

We just love the farm shop and eat there as often as we possibly can. The range of delicious salad accompaniments to the fantastic veggie mains are brilliant and we always leave feeling healthier than we arrived. Everything else is held up to the standards of this fantastic rustic staple of ours...

My partner and I had Sunday lunch here on the recommendation of a friend. The cafe is fairly basic with a mix of tables and metal chairs. However it has a pleasant relaxed feel and is popular with locals. The cafe serves one type of meat and only on Sundays, the rest of the week it is fully vegetarian. Our... More

We have been to Abbey Home Farm twice this year and stayed in The Hut by the Pond. This is just the most idillic, peaceful place. The farm is all organic with fresh bore hole water to drink. Both times I have left feeling healthier and as if I'd been away for much more than a few days. It's the... More
