We called in today for a light lunch and there was plenty of choice including Burgers, Sandwiches, Healthy options and Quiches. The provenance of what we eat is important to us and I was pleased to see that they use free Range Eggs and Chicken in their sandwiches. I also felt their pricing was very reasonable considering they are not serving food that has been cooked with standard ingredients.
It is rare for me to fancy a burger at Lunchtime but the meat was from a quality local butcher called Jessie Smith so I just fancied one. I like a fairly plain burger and there was no issue having it without cheese and they gave me extra onion rings as a substitute!
The team all seemed very pleasant and it was refreshing to see every customer who walked in was welcomed personally by the person nearest the door, it was a nice touch.
You can just tell that Mosaic is a well run family business that tries very hard. We will definitely be back at the end of the month when we are again in Cirencester.

we discovered this cafe when we bought ice cream a few days ago and decided to go back for lunch this week. Although our order got forgotten 😕 we were bowled over by the food. This must be the best quiche I've ever tasted. Stilton and pear with walnuts was an absolute delight. The chef came to check how things were and even gave us the recipe for a dish. Would definitely recommend and go back. Pretty Covid safe too.

A well managed cafe selling the best cream teas, do check out inside though...tasted all the ingredients and tried the date and ginger ones!
Staff were just a delight, we were given instruction, re Covid, in a calm way, organised and pleasant. Well done mosaic cafe; food top notch, staff friendly and organised, clean and to top this really reasonable
Down a little alley off the high street...hunt for it and you’ll be glad you did!

My partner and myself just happended upon Cafe Mosaic after parking the car and starting a very enjoyable morning in Cirencester. We were greeted with a friendly smile and ordered breakfast. I just had toast & marmalade and flat white and my partner had a small breakfast and tea. Toast was just toast but nicely presented in a small basket with ample butter and marmalade, the flat white was surprisingly good. My partners small breakfast came with perfectly cooked poached egg and good quality bacon and sausage, pot of tea with another nice touch of pot of hot water to top up. Service was friendly and efficient. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

We dined here at lunchtime, when it was very busy, and were welcomed by very friendly staff. Our order was taken very promptly.
The sandwiches with salad were excellent, being plentiful and tasty. The gluten free cake was top class and all were washed down with fine tea and coffee.
There was a lovely atmosphere and the service was great. We look forward to returning here.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great menu choice. Fabulous home cooked food by resident chef. Hubby had a ham and cheese omelette and fries and it was light and fluffy and fries weren't greasy. I had a home made goats cheese and red onion quiche which was divine and the salad with it had a lovely dressing. Not a bad price either. Would defo return!!

My husband and I were seated inside, we both ordered poached eggs on toast, sausage, tea, latte.
Food and drinks came really quickly.
My eggs were perfect, sausage was from the butchers, quality ingredients served.
The cakes on display looked gorgeous.
Really nice little cafe, good service, lovely food, friendly staff.

Tucked away off the main street this café has outdoor seating if necessary and several tables inside. The coffee is first class as are the cherry scones freshly made you can tell the difference. I was so impressed I went back for lunch having baked potato with chees and mushrooms and salad very filling and good price. The attention to detail and customer service interaction is excellent. Tables cleaned straight away.

I hiked into the gorgeous town of Cirencester on a Saturday morning, enjoying the market atmosphere, scanning for somewhere to eat. Just past the square, I came to a little passage marked “Wool Market” which led to an open arcade wherein Café Mosaic hides away. Looked just the job with its cluster of outside tables catching the sun, so I went for it.
Turned out a terrific choice: what a find! Ticked off the triple whammy for me: location; food; staff.
Had the Full English, a coffee, and a tea. Awesome breakfast—excellent produce, perfectly cooked and presented. 2 eggs, big sausages, 2 hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans, 3 big slices of grilled tomato, 3 rashers, 4(!) pieces of granary toast. Hot milk with the coffee. Hot water with the teapot, extending the contents to 2½ cups. Utter heaven.
And then there was the absolutely fantastic young lady who served me, maybe student age. Dark-haired, chatty, very funny, and impressively on top of all the multitasking this breakfast and drinks required of her. Gawld bless her, a credit to the business.
So this is a rave review. Much love to the Café Mosaic.

I have lunch here about once a week. The food is consistently superb. All freshly cooked using the best ingredients. The omelettes and side salad are amazing 👍 you couldn’t get better quality food. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. On my visit today, the chef even popped out of his kitchen to ask each table if they where enjoying their food ! How good is that !
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to everybody looking for great food and fab service 👍

We had a fantastic lunch here yet again yesterday. Macaroni Cheese and Toad in the Hole cooked to perfection followed by the yummiest cheesecake ever. (They always have yummy tea cakes here) The surroundings are delightful and original and the quality of light there is excellent. Service is quick and smiley and it’s situated in a lovely part of the town. In summer there is a lovely courtyard so you caneat outdoors.

Absolutely fabulous food and service. Couldn’t wish for anything better.
The lemon meringue pie is absolutely fantastic and huge. When we ordered some and other customers saw it, the whole pie was sold within a few minutes and nobody was disappointed!
Looking forward to our next trip to Cirencester so that we eat their delicious food 😀👏

After arriving in Cirencester early Saturday morning, we were looking around and noticed this cafe for a potential brunch place. I was hoping we would come back in time for breakfast, but due to sightseeing made it for lunchtime instead. Having a tough choice of the BBQ burger and the steak baguette, I finally settled on the burger. I was not disappointed in the slightest!! Without doubt, this was the best burger I have ever had!! Every element cooked or prepared perfectly. A proper thick, juicy burger cooked to perfection and tasted so good!!! The chips were also incredible - crispy and fluffy!! I only wanted a snack for lunch so felt a bit naughty getting the burger, but I was so pleased I did. My partner had an omelette (yes, I know!!!) but also said that was fantastic too. The staff were an absolute delight; friendly, welcoming and helpful. If ever I’m in the area again I will most definitely be coming back.
I also bought some scones for home and they were fantastic too!!

My partner and I visited the cafe a couple of weeks ago for the first time, despite being local. It didn't disappoint, friendly and attentive staff (there was a mix-up over beans, but this was swiftly dealt with!) and the breakfast was cooked perfectly, using good quality produce.
What we thought was a very nice touch, was the fact the owner/manager personally asked each table how their food was. You don't see that often. She was great.
Very reasonably priced also, we will definitely be back, it will be our first choice for eating out for Breakfast or Lunch from now on.
Highly recommend, do pay it a visit!
