We stopped here for lunch on the way to a weekend break. The beer is good and so are the ploughmans lunches, and we were made very welcome by the Landlord.

This pub used to do nice currys but the site is now closed and for sale. There is a large car park at the front. The nearest place to eat is the Cpach and Horses in Longborough which is excellent but with parking in the road.

Had a lovely dinner here on a Saturday evening without booking when most other places just round the corner on Bourton were fully booked. Lovely meal and happy to adjust to make it a low fat option. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We turned up given good reviews on here. Looked to have closed down, website was blank and a sign directing people to another pub in the group. Check before you go whether it was permanent or temporary.

Very nice atmosphere , friendly staff. Lack of nearby public transport so need a car or taxi but if you're fit quite a long pleasant walk to access connections. There is an Indian Orangery in Moreton-In Marsh. Very scenic.

We arrived just before checking-in and the Landlord made us feel very welcome and was very talkative, as we sat at the bar with a drink. The bar is large and there are plenty of tables for eating. we were shown our room, which was up two sets of stairs with a landing in between and one set being quite... More

We stayed at a cottage across the road from the pub and so spent a lot of time there. We were made to feel very welcome by Jo and his staff, who looked after us well during our stay. The food was of a good standard with steak & wine deals on the menu. The Beer was local and excellent,... More

We were a party of four- two grandparents with a 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 in tow. Grandma is a Coeliac and the children wanted only spahetti bolognese. We all ate and drank well, with careful attention made to meeting our dietary needs. Well drawn draght cider delighted the Coeliac. All tried and the grsndparents delighted in a fine duck... More

We were a large party of 16 staying in the area and found this restaurant on trip advisor. I had pre booked our table as such a large group and they also let us have the skittle alley for the kids. Food was very good, reasonable price and very organised. Would definitely go back if in the area again. Really... More
