The staff at the Waypoint are always efficient and welcoming. The food is delicious , plentiful and great value..they dealt with a party of 14, some of whom were delayed with calmness and care.

Once again a delicious and plentiful lunch served by the friendliest, most helpful staff. It is a delight to be there, feels like home from home! Highly recommended.
Had a lunch meet-up with family. Pleasant staff and an easygoing atmosphere, a nice but limited menu. Let us take the dog in.
We booked Sunday roast here following a recommendation from a friend and I have to say it was absolutely delicious! On entering we were immediately greeted and seated ! I chose the Longhorn beef and it was a very good choice , cooked to perfection...and mouthwatering ! Excellent choice of potatoes , vegetables and Yorkshire pudding! My wife chose the pork but to be honest you could if you decided to have both ! The portions were generous and the staff were on point and attentive ! Will be going again very soonMore
The Waypoint provides a relaxed and friendly environment. It takes Dog Friendly to another level with water bowls, gravy bones and a selection of beds for our furry family members. The food, whether it be a sandwich or a burger is always good- I’m not...going to mention the incredible Parmesan and truffle fries, just in case everybody wants them!More
Thank you for your kind review. We do try to make our furry friends feel welcome so we're pleased to hear that you had a good experience. It's also good to hear that you enjoy our truffle fries as much as we do!!
Excellent service from the moment we arrived. The Carvery Sunday dinner was well organised with a waitress collecting us not long after our drinks arrived to be taken to collect the meal. The Beef was perfect for us,medium rare, I had beef and pork with...a lovely bit of pork scratching and a huge yorkie pudding. The only issue we had was, for my daughter, having only roast potato as an option. The Roasts were delicious for me but would have expected one other choice, either mash or boiled. Other than that the veg choice was great with perfect whole baby carrots, parsnips beans and cauliflower cheese along with a delicious home made stuffing. Gravy was spot on too! The Brownie for pudding was also a huge hit for both myself and daughter! Very well organised and super smiley service 👍 As a note we have called here often in summer, for a drink and snack, whilst walking the dogs! They are always welcome with treats and water available…All round good experience.More

Have been to the Waypoint today for their carvery roast dinner, we both really enjoyed it. The roast beef was cooked perfectly and the vegetables and roast potatoes were lovely too. The best thing about the restaurant was the service which was excellent. Everyone was...extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will most certainly be going ourselves again.More

Called in for a Capaccino and a piece of fresh cake whilst walking the Cotswold Way. Very dog friendly. I do not play golf but was amazed to see that the first tee was played up hill.
The website of The Waypoint quite clearly states 'Bar and Restaurant'. It is not a restaurant, as it does not serve meals as such. It serves 'light bites'. So whilst what we had was excellent, we actually expected to be able to order a main...meal. There is seating outside as well as a lovely indoor area. The service from the staff was second to none.More
We’ve been a few times now. The food is fabulous and service very friendly & efficient. Try the egg & bacon Mayo sandwich… delicious!
Thanks for taking the time to leave us some lovely comments. Glad you like our new egg mayo sandwich! It’s definitely a firm favourite of ours. Hope to welcome you back soon.
Always go here for breakfast if heading to Cheltenham Even booked a Sunday lunch which was fabulous However last weekend took my daughter and granddaughter to Holland cooper for bday treat so told them not to eat breakfast we will get bacon rolls at waypoint...( my hubby a foodie says you cannot get better anywhere !) On arrival it was clear they were setting up for a wedding and we were told sorry no more breakfasts The disappointment !!! I asked if they could recommend anywhere locally for a bacon roll and the lady said oh I can do you bacon rolls just not full breakfast Music to our ears ! Tastiest best ever and thank you for your fantastic customer service You don’t find this level in many places anymore The lady waiting at tables was super friendly and efficient Would give you ten stars but I can’t Thank youMore

Thought we’d try this place for lunch as not many eating places in Painswick. When we arrived the entrance stairway was very scruffy, chairs on the terrace were not great , no backs and the view was just of some grass, not wonderful. No atmosphere,...very few people there. We left and found a lovely pub in Painswick.More
I visited here for tea/coffees and cake last week. There is a lovely atmosphere inside. We ordered at the bar and the drinks etc were brought to the table. Really friendly waitress. The menu looked excellent. This was a super dog friendly place where you...can pick up a soft and cosy dog cushion on the way in for your 4 legged friend to snooze on whilst you enjoy the food. The home made strawberry bakewell tart was superb and the portion was generous. The drinks come with little caramel biscuits. The dog was offered a bowl of water and a gravy bone biscuit. Comfortable seating - wing chairs, sofas, bar stools, tables and chairs. We thought it was excellent value for money. The pot of tea held 2 generous cups. My 89 year old mother in law was delighted we came here and the dog did not want to leave! . We will certainly be back. A great place to pop into for lunch/refreshments part way through a walk. We had not realised before that it was open to the public. There is also outside seating and sun umbrellas. Part of the venue was set up for an event - and the tables looked lovely! Thank you!More

Amazing food! The fattoush salad was incredible. Reason prices, lovely golf club for a walk as well. Friendly service, and dog friendly!
Thank you! Really appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review - hope to welcome you back soon.
The food and service at The Waypoint were excellent. We had two delicious salads - the Chicken Caesar and the Sumac Chicken with Couscous. Fresh, good quality ingredients and just the right amount. Chips were crispy and delicious too. Topped off with a lovely white...wine. Very friendly and attentive staff as well. A delightful lunch after walking up to the Painswick Beacon. Highly recommended.More
