Visited again on Wednesday evening. The special in the restaurant is 2 Steaks AND a bottle of wine for £25!! Of course you can choose from the normal menu as well if you prefer. The two rib eye steaks were perfectly cooked and arrived sizzling on metal skillets, sitting on a bed of peppers and onions and topped off with... More

Our first visit to the Prince of Wales and we had a fabulous meal tonight. Perfectly cooked steaks and a good choice of food for both vegetarians and meat eaters. The landlord was very friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble; this is everything a good pub should be. Glad we've found you, see you again soon.

5 of us went to the Prince of Wales. Service was great. We felt personally looked after by the landlord and we was very welcoming, but at the same time he didn't intrude. The food was excellent. All freshly prepared, cooked to order and clearly home-made. Portion size is very generous! However, we still managed to consume an array of... More

We came here on Friday night after 18 months of avoiding the place to find a pleasant new owner/manager. I had the rump steak and my wife had the ribs and we both thoroughly enjoyed our food and the way it was presented. The steak came on a separate plate on a bed of peppers and onions with two huge... By far one of the best pubs I have ever visited. A warm welcome every time and a wonderful atmosphere. Great food, great beer, lovely garden and kids play area. I don't know how anyone could say something bad about this place! Would recommend to anyone!

Abusive landlord/temp manager, a friend had a bad beer which was not changed or apoligised for by the landlord. Really bad attitude and loud voice, obviously had been drinking which may account for this. He did keep saying he was ex old bill!! Why this was said I'm not sure, but we have used this pub on many occasions over... More

Ever since Joel and Sarah have taken the reigns to The Prince of Wales they've turned this establishment around. A fantastic selection of beers and ales along with some great food. More important the atmosphere within the pub is brilliant, never felt so welcome. Keep up the good work!

Well done princes of Wales we have been here may times for food and drink . The pub is under new management and find this hard to believe . Their Sunday lunch is the best around . Bar staff are great and looking forward to go back again .

The prince is a fantastic pub, great food, great atmosphere, great landlord. I would choose this pub over any in the area. I would also recommend this pub to anyone. Wednesday's there is a quiz night which is linked with other pubs across the country, great fun. Well worth a visit and day of the week!
