About
Sitting half way between Stroud and Nailsworth, this 250 year-old former coaching inn, built in the heyday of the Stroud wool industry, oozes rustic character and charm. The Old Fleece has a very relaxed and homely atmosphere and is run by a team of staff who are friendly, attentive and efficient. Enjoy the lively atmosphere of the popular terrace during the summer months and snuggle up next to our roaring fire when the nights draw in.

Excellent food served by very attentive staff. They were very busy so gave us complimentary sweets to make up for the wait - although the food was well worth waiting for
