The service here was incredibly poor. I was stood at at the bar waiting to be served and was told they only serve from a line away from the bar, instead of the traditional along the bar,so nearly 10 minutes waisted there. To then see...them serve someone that had taken my exact same place. Then when I finally got served the beer I wanted had ran out , I asked if they could change it, I was told no because they didn't have time. Will not go again and would definitely not recommend.More

Went to celebrate a friends birthday and by 9pm they stopped serving drinks in glasses and started using plastic cups. Questioned the manager why I couldn't have my drink in a glass and he blatantly lied to my face, stating it is the law that...because he has entertainment then he is not allowed to use proper glasses for drinks. Even when I challenged him on this, he said if youndont like my rules you know where the door is. Customer service at its worse, being lied to and told basically you either get a drink in a plastic cup or go else where. To make things even worse the air conditioning units in the place were all off making the environment like a sweat box.More

Nothing was too much trouble with arranging our party, the manager was on hand the entire night personally making sure everything ran smoothly, everything was all set up for us - it was just an all round fantastic experience, the games, the great food and...the atmosphere just made it!More

Had a lovely lunch at Southsea Village. Nice space, very accommodating of the pram and my 6 month old and staff really helpful with my allergies. I'd been a number of times before but not with the baby or with dietary needs and they really...did go above and beyond.More

We popped in as we remembered visiting a couple of years ago. Lovely Pizza and dough sticks, fast service, chatty staff, a really nice experience Thoroughly recommended, and a superb local ale on tap too.

We visited on our lunch break knowing it might be tight to be finished within the hour and that wouldn’t be the end of the world. We ordered three pizzas for three people through the app. Drinks came no problem. The pizzas took 50 minutes...to finally come and when they did the young waitress with the pierced nose just brought two and walked off. We waited politely and could see that their appeared to be another pizza waiting at the kitchen bit at the other end of the restaurant so we thought she would be going back to collect. We waited 5 minutes while the two lunches we had were getting cold and the waitress was simply back at the bar cleaning glasses etc. my friend went over to ask where the third pizza was and she said we only ordered two . My friend showed her the order of three that we had paid for. No apology no smile she rather rudely said she would have to check with the kitchen. Instead of doing that she carried on cleaning glasses at the bar!! We were shocked looking at each other and our two pizzas while she didn’t bother walking over to the kitchen. Her service was so poor that we decided we have to go to the kitchen area ourselves and ask the chef. I did and the nice chef instantly said yes that’s your third pizza - the one that had been sat there the whole time getting cold! So I thanked him and brought my own lunch back to the table - I called out to the waitress that we had located our pizza . She didn’t respond. Nor did she pop over and say sorry about the mix up glad you managed to get it sorted! I don’t think dealing with customers is the right job for this lady! We saw two other tables have problems with the orders and her reactions while we were there. Having said all this the pizza was excellent but the service from that particular lady will probably put us off returningMore

I booked the "Village Hall" on a Thursday night for approx 30 staff. Good communication from the first booking a great welcome on arrival. The service we received on the night was excellent with staff being both friendly and very helpful to all my colleagues...- nothing was too much trouble for them. The games in the area were great fun and something that all staff got involved with. Our evening included a pizza buffet which again was very good and I have received great feedback. A very positive experience for all my staff, one which we hope to repeat again soon. If you are looking for a venue for a casual corporate event this is the venue for you!More

Visited today with my daughter as it has a gluten free option on menu First impression was that Its a little dark if im honest Though menu is a little samey i was very surprised at the quality of the pizzas Both myself and daughter...had New Yorker pizza And both were exceptionally good No trouble when my daughter wanted to change a few toppings and the ginger haired lad who served us was very chatty and friendly when i made requests for the changes Not the cheapest food for what it is but saying that would definitely return with the quality and friendliness of all the staffMore

Came here with four friends for dinner. 3 x burgers arrived after waiting 50 mins. My pizza was a further 20 mins after being told repeatedly ‘it’s on its way’’ and arrived microwaved and as chewy as chewing gum. Couldn’t eat more than a slice...as was not only inedible but we were late for a show we had tickets for. Funny thing is the place was less than half empty.More

We had a lovely time today and the staff were excellent. Very attentive, didn't mind when someone was late and we asked to hold a meal back and all in all a really great team.

Amazing food, fantastic range of drinks, with helpful and friendly staff- nothing was too much trouble. Chris greeted us and seated us at our table- we felt very welcome. We perused the menu and ordered at the bar, being able to make adjustments to the...menu choices with ease (I swapped Monterey jack for goats cheese on my burger). The food came out in very good time despite it being a busy Saturday night during the World Cup. Chris continued to look after us, checking-back to ensure everything was going well with our meal, which it was. We stayed for further drinks after our food, enjoying the lively pub atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again soon.More
