Quick and efficient service. Tasty food and good portion sizes. Toilets could be cleaner. Good varied menu. Lots of choice. They are keen on plastic straws - served in every drink, even in glasses of water. With so much concern around plastic recently, this was...More

Thank you for you review. Our toilets are usually immaculate so I will speak to my staff about that, it is impossible to police the toilets every 5 minutes but we do keep them in good order on a daily basis & I have actually...More

Don`t you just love it when somebody creates an account just to make one complaint? These 3 fifty-somethings came into my restaurant at about 9.30pm last Saturday night. It was the bank holiday weekend & it was pretty quiet with the Champions league final on...More

We had a really enjoyable meal, the staff were friendly and the service was quick. My crayfish and prawn penne was delicious, and a massive portion. My husband had belly pork and it was perfect. Unpretentious, which we prefer, and plenty of space rather than...More

called in on a rainy evening at the end of december, the restaurant is in an old pub and is fairly large and cavernous, so with only three tables occupied there was no atmosphere at all. Starters were Ok but main past course was badly...More

This is our all-time favourite for a Sunday roast. Brisket just falls apart and the roast spuds are cooked in goose fat with a touch of rosemary. Other top choice is the chicken & mushroom carbonara (have it with penne - less mess). Sundaes are...More

I definitely don`t use flour on the roast potatoes & whilst my gravy isn`t gluten free I can look into a gluten free option if given enough notice, I just need a call a week or so beforehand & I will see what I can do.

We can cater for Coeliacs by either removing bread from some of the dishes like the Garlic mushrooms crostini or serving a burger without a bun or given enough notice I can buy some gluten free pasta & cook it separately... More

Description
The Italian Bar and Grill. Excellent New York style eaterie - combining a great bar with unfussy but stylish restaurant. The well-travelled patrons know good food - and you can be sure that everything is cooked fresh on the premises. If you can find a better rack of ribs this side of the state then let us know! Good quality, local, non-chain store restaurants can be hard to find. Relax, you've found one.
